Ok, here's the story. I've been with the same guy for two. years. He was told about ten years ago that his sperm don't move very well. The doctor said few were moving and the ones that were, were moving slowly and had no tail. That doctor said he could have children someday, but seemed to express that it would be difficult. At the time, he was heavily into drugs.Fast forward to now, we've been using totally unprotected sex for two years (no condoms, pills, shot, patch, pull out) NOTHING. And nothing ever happened. Well this month on July 16 I had sex with another man and we used a condom. It didn't break and we were extremely careful. There was no heavy foreplay at all. I didn't touch his penis, he didn't touch me. But I did tease him for awhile and he said he got hard and soft and hard again a lot and there was bound to have been some precum in his pants. But I watched him put the condom on, he didn't touch himself. Didn't break, didn't fall off nothing. It was all very quick. The problem is, exactly two weeks later my period was about four or five days late, I was experiencing symptoms, took a test and it was positive. The guy I've been with for two years and never got pregnant by I had sex with him on July 13 and July 9 and I was told by the lady at the clinic where I had the test done that I probably concieved around July 10 give or take a few days.My last period was on June 27. My question is, what are the odds of either one being the father? Both seem very remote! Help!

What are the odds of this?

Well, you must have gotten pregnant from one of them. The condom is not 100% foolproof, even when used correctly. A paternity test will be the only way to tell for sure, if you choose to continue the pregnancy.

You honestly don't think it favors one or the other???

I don't think anyone on this board is a fertility expert. Having said that, you are talking about one case of one of two unlikely events. How will a wild guess benefit you? Are you trying to decide whether you're going to keep the pregnancy going?

It seems from what you've said that the father is more likely to be the guy you're with, but we can't be certain.

The chances of the guy with the condom is practically nil. 'Sperm movin' slow' is not a permanent condition... Nor does it mean that pregnancy is out of the question.
