hey this should be on the comercial of the more you know...except in this case we have a football player who continues to proclaim his (so called) dominance over other people by destroying his liver...give him a round of applause.

Burning chest - alcohol
-
Wtf are you talking about, my parents were having a couple people over for a cook out and i was eating chicken wings with hot sauce and thought it was coke. And dude your one to talk it takes you 8 beers to get buzzed?? im drunk as hell with 8 beers.
-
Yes I am one to talk. I did not drink until college and found an unusual resistance to alcohol. So buddy, mouth shut eyes forward b/c the fact you know what it takes to get you drunk and you are that young, shows you need to be a bit more attentive to what life is about. So please ignorant football players to the back of the class room because you seem to be flexing the wrong muscle.
-
as you young ones say: "pwned" which is retarded, but still valid here.
-
Ive went over this before, why because i play football you think im dumb?? because i drink to? or honestly did you guys have bad experiances with football players or watch to many teen movies
-
Hi, hello...I was a football player too. From my experience most high school football players are. Aspiring to be my future personal trainer or striving to make it to a community college. But yes, the fact that your drink so young and do it in quantities to get yourself drunk does show a lack of intelligence. Like I said flex the wrong muscle in a section of the room where you will not harm others.

There's no acid in alcohol.

I cannot tolerate more than 1 to 2 alcohol drinks. I also notice I get that "pressure" uncomfortable feeling in my chest when I drink. I've only gotten drunk twice and those 2 times I swear I had a hangover for 1-2 weeks. Very uncomfortable feeling. I later found out that I lack an enzyme that allows your body to digest alcohol. It's more common in asian and native american people. You can read a little more about it at http://www.bio.davidson.edu/courses/genomics/2003/cain/ADH.html

Here's another article I foundAvoiding Alcohol to reduce and prevent acid refluxHeartburn Tip From Sharon Gillson,Your Guide to Heartburn / Acid Reflux.FREE Newsletter. Sign Up Now! Alcohol relaxes the lower esophageal sphincter, allowing the reflux of stomach contents into the esophagus. It also increases the production of stomach acid. If you want to consume alcohol, follow these tips: Dilute alcoholic beverages with water or club soda, drink moderate amounts of alcoholic beverages -- the suggested amounts are 1-2 mixed drinks, 12-16 ounces of wine, or 2-3 beers, drink white wine instead of red, choose non-alcoholic beer or wine whenever you can.

It looks like you might have put your finger on it, tiny4774. Acid reflux would cause a burning sensation in the chest, and some people are much more susceptible to it than others.
