When I close my eye and press on it, and move my finger across it I feel this bump. I don't know what it is, and it feels really sore when I press on it.

My eye! Whats going on?!?!
-
Okay, a bit of an update. It's not on my eye, it's actually on my eyelid. It's like a weird sore. Maybe a cyst or seomthing, I really don't know, but I'm kinda worried.
-
hmm could be a cyst, but I'd have your doc take a look though just to be on the safe side.
-
My eye doctor or my regular doctor?
-
Either would probably work though if you want more of a specialist, than go to the eye doctor.
-
Yeah. It's not really a bump, it's just a small place on my eyelid where it's sore. I might just wait for it to go away and see what happens.

I seriously doubt you need to see an eye doctor (opthalmologist) for a sore bump on your eyelid. Give it a few days see what happens. If it's not getting any better, then give your regular doctor a call.

Sounds like a stye (sp?)...like others have said, give it a few days, try using a warm compress on it. If it doesn't go down then you may want to see a doctor. I had two back in my teen years, and I had to see a doctor to get them removed.

It sounds like you have a stye in your eye or a pimple coming to the surface . I have had them before. This is what I was sent….A stye is an infection deep within the glands beneath the eyelashes or within the oil-secreting glands of the eyelids. A Stye may appear as a red bump that looks very much like a pimple. The stye is usually caused by Staphylococcus bacteria that infect the gland or root of the hair. The eyelids may be red, tender to the touch and swollen. Other symptoms may include redness in the eyes, itch, burning or gritty sensation within the eyes and mucous. Contaminated mascara brushes and eye makeup have been associated with stye formation. Stye is treated with warm, moist compresses to help the infection to drain and to decrease pain and irritation. Antibiotic ointment may be combined with antibiotic eyedrops or oral medication. The stye shouldn't be expressed manually, rather it should be left to drain. At least that was what I was told to do…
