On April 1st, my girlfriend and I finally got into our local Planned Parenthood clinic to get birth control pills. They gave her a pregnancy test, which was negative, and after what seemed like an eternity, gave her the pills and told us when to start them, things like that. The problem is, her period is usually towards the very beginning of the month(the date we got together was on a 6th and she is usually off of it by then). She's now a good two weeks overdue, hasn't started it yet. It's really freaking me out. What are the chances that she's just randomly skipping a period? The pregnancy test they gave her was negative. We have had sex since then, but it was protected. Should I be worried? Should I go get a home pregnancy test?

has she started the pills yet? if not she should just probably start it tonight (most are sunday starters) don't worry about the period

Are you sure if it's okay that she starts them today? They did say to start them on a Sunday, it's supposed to be the first sunday after her period starts. Will it be a problem if she starts taking the pills without starting her period?

It shouldn't be a problem.
