I have a pea-sized lump on the top of my penis, just in front of where the penis joins with the abdomen. It seems to be attached to a vein.So at the least I have self-diagnosed myself with a blood-clot, and if this is true then I would have to get it sorted out, yes? Because the lump has been there years so it won't go away on its own now. However, if this lump is not a blood clot then I fear it could be cancerous. It shows up more when I have an erection, although it doesn't increase in size when I'm hard.I was wondering if anyone can advise me on what this lump could be. Should I visit a doctor immediately? What are the first stages of penile cancer anyway? Because if I do have cancer it would obviously have spread everywhere by now in the years I've known it [the lump] to be there.I am in relatively good health and my hair isn't falling out yet, either. However I sometimes feel tired and get lots of aches of pains, especially in the bones.

Penile cancer

A blood clot for a year? I seriously doubt it. How did you come up with that?If it's not a blood clot, it doesn't mean that it is cancer.> my hair isn't falling out yet, either.I'm not sure what this relates to.> However I sometimes feel tired and get lots of aches of pains, especially in the bones. You haven't seen a doctor in at least a year. You're thinking of undergoing minor surgery (a curcumcision). Don't you think it's time to get a checkup?

I regularly visit the doctor but it doesn't mean I'm going to ask him to analyse my penis every week.
I had a visit to the urologist in December, 2004, because I needed my phimosis confirmed and that was when I was told I would need a circumcision. The urologist didn't notice anything else wrong with my penis, but then again he doesn't specialise in cancer.
If blood-clots don't last for upto a year then I don't know what else to think. The lump is attached to the vein and it is the same colour as the vein (feint purple).

I regularly visit the doctor but it doesn't mean I'm going to ask him to analyse my penis every week. We're having dueling discussions on two threads about the same thing. You saw a urologist less than a year ago. Did you not tell him and did he not notice the lump? I assume the doctor will want to see you again before having the cirucumcision. Don't you think that might be a good time to bring up the lump issue? If you were having heart attack symptoms you wouldn't be worrying about seeing the doctor too often. Why would this be any different?

Hair falling out isn't a symptom of cancer, it's a result of most anti-cancer drugs - that is, it comes from the treatment, not the disease. If the lump isn't growing it's almost certainly not cancer, though it's hard to say what it is. But do show it to your doctor next time you see him.

Oh well I didn't know about the hair loss thing being due to treatment. I am still worried about this apparent penile cancer. I also think I might have breast cancer and testicular cancer.I can feel something underneath my right breast; it cannot be a bone because there is nothing underneath the left breast. I have noticed this for at least six months, hoping it would go away but it hasn't.Also, one of my testicles is egg-shaped with a tender pointy end. They are also different sizes. In fact, the best way I could describe them is that one of them is an egg and the other one is just the squishy insides of the egg (i.e. no shell). I noticed this around 8 years ago. When I sit down fully clothed in front of the mirror, I can only see one testicle through my trousers. I believe this was the first cancer I ever had and the subsequent penile and breast cancers are a product of what began in the testes.None of the above has been diagnosed but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to work it out. However, do you think it's possible to have 3 different kinds of cancer grow individually, or is it likely that they are related?I think it is exceptionally bad luck to be born with 3 cancers, pinhole phimosis and schizophrenia.

You have a lot of concerns, and none of us here are doctors. Even if we were doctors, we'd be remiss in trying to diagnose your issues without examining you. One trip to the doctor will address all of your concerns in one fell swoop. Unless you enjoy the stress, I advise contacting your doctor.Keep in mind that every little bump is not cancer, or everyone would have cancer.Weren't you going for a circumcision? I assume have some contact with a doctor.

I'd say the only bad luck you have is hypochondria.
