My girlfriend and i have been having a bit of fun lately. however we have never had sex, but have played with each others genitals. there has always been some form of clothing between us. normally substantial clothing. a couple of nights ago. she experienced slight bleeding. the next morning there was also a little blood. it was 4 days before her period, but she has experienced no cramps or other signs of her period coming. she is still a virgin, but we are worried. neither of us understand what is happening. please help.

Help. Please answer.

firstly there is no need to post the question in more than one forum! As to the question, well if she is still a virgin, and unless the bleeding gets heavier (and its not her period) or carries on for along time then i don't think there is anything for either of you to worry about........:)

wasnt sure which forum is correct one. so you say there is nothing to worry about unless bleeding gets heavier. i believe that the bleeding has stopped, but there is still no sign of period to come. is it possible that her hymen (not sure of spelling) tore even though there was no intercourse.
-
I guess anything is possible, if the bleeding has stopped, i wouldn't give it another thought.....

how likely/unlikley is it that her hyman has torn from a bit of sexual activity but absolutly no intercourse. have you heard of it happening before. for us (muslims) it is very important that the female can prove her virginity on the 1st night of marriage. that is wat we are most worried about currently. but thanks for the re-assurence that it shouldnt be anything serious.

I totally understand that this would be a concern for you both, but i have no idea how unlikely or likely it would be..........maybe some of the guys n gals on here will know more........

her hymen could've broken years ago, other things besides sexual things can break a hymen, there is really no way to tell whether a woman is still a virgin or not

for us (muslims) it is very important that the female can prove her virginity on the 1st night of marriageIt's possible to spot blood between periods for who knows what reason. It's possible that the period started at an odd time, but there don't happen to be cramps. It's possible that active sex play, even while she's dressed, may have torn her hymen. It's possible that she was whacked by a car door and tore her hymen. Who knows?I assume you asked the virginity question because you don't plan to marry her, and you are looking out for her best interests. But the reality, as Amanda said, is that there is know way to know by examination whether a woman is a virgin. They hymen can be torn by lots of things, if the girl doesn't live strapped to a chair. If she does vigorous activities, like horesback riding, it's probably already torn. It will probably tear further on first intercourse, but the "bleeding test" is still not accurate. (I assume the husband will be looking for blood as "proof" of virginity.)How does he prove to her that he's a virgin?
