Hello this is my first post. If you may not kno im a hairy mofo. Well nayway im really worried because I have hair on the upper part of my face way above the hairline. Anyway i use to pull the hairs out either with a tweezer or my fingers and now my moms telling me that it can damage my skin. Now Im really worried im gonna end up with blemishes all over or get some skin disease or sumething. Your face makes the first impression and i dont want mine ruined. Can someone please tell me this is not true and it wont leave marks.Ths is all ive been thinking about for the past3 days.

Please help whats happening to my face

It seems like shaving would be a lot easier, but many women spend years tweezing their eyebrows. Make sure your tweezers are clean before using (a wipe with alcohol wouldn't hurt). As I mentioned in another thread, electrolysis or laser hair removal is a possibility, but might be costly.

no man Ima guy Im talking about the area on my upper cheeks. Ive been pulling my hairs out for a while and im afraid it may lead to hyperpigmentation or something

I think he knows you're a guy....Just to be on the safe side I would probably ask a dermatologist about the effects it could have on your skin.. I've never heard of someone having a skin reaction to tweezing out hairs, because females do it all the time (yes.. I know you're a male.. but.. that is the point the above poster was trying to make..).. Females tweeze their eyebrows and dont seem to suffer from any sort of skin irritation, I dont see why you would.. But.. Dont take my word for it, it's your skin.. See a professional.

I pull out the occasional hair on the upper half of my cheeks without ill-effects, and I have been plucking my ear-rims for some time without anything too bad happening (I have the hairy ear-rim gene, curses).

Ear rims! It's easy to pluck hairs from ear rims, but not so easy to pluck hairs from nostrils. I assume that facial hairs lie somewhere in between, on the comfort scale. Shaving facial areas works for me, but you should do what works for you...depending on your pain tolerance.
