This is hard to keep short, but I'll try...Friday: Had unprotected sex for the first time with my girlfriend. Trampled about through weeds and tall grass (not at the same time, mind you).Monday: Woke up, found two red bumps; one on my foreskin that could've been more accurately described as a "dot," and one further down the shaft that looked like a tick bite. I picked the tiny "tick" off with a pair of tweezers, but now that I could examine it, I couldn't see any legs. I began to wonder if it could have been a scab, but I ruled that out when my girlfriend called a few hours later and said she picked two ticks from her back. She was certain hers were real ticks.Today (over two weeks later): My two red bumps are still there, haven't changed color, haven't changed size, they don't itch, they don't burn, they don't ooze, and they cause no discomfort whatsoever. Unfortunately, yesterday, a third "dot" appeared.I've called my doctor. He says jock itch, but told me not to come in for an actual examination just yet. He told me to try Lotrimin. I've been tested for six STDs (I'm counting Hepatitus B & C as one), but the results won't be in until later. My girlfriend is showing no symptoms at all, and I have reason to believe this may be a male yeast infection or such (I've had one before, but not in recent memory), but I'd like to know some opinions while I wait for the results on my tests. Should I go see a different doctor? I think mine is a good doctor, but he's old and maybe not as up to date on the sexual stuff.

It's possible you could have contracted crabs or lice during that time. Perhaps you only got bitten by one or two and then pulled them off. I would abstain from having sex until I hear back from the doctor and at least explain to him what happened exactly so he can have a better understanding of this. If he doesnt seem to be helping you, I would find a urologist and discuss this with him and see what happens.

if it was a 'small'(small as in the size of the head of a straight pin) tick - ask your doctor to test for lyme disease. ticks - esp deer ticks (smaller ones) spread it by biting
