I was thinking of taking tennis lessons over summer, and I was wondering.. is it a good workout?

my best lady friend has an athletic ladies 2 pack from playing tennis. Guys tend to develop strong thighs and forarms from tennis too.... now that I think about it, quite appropriate muscles for doing other things. lol
