oh yeah forgot about that....so i need 500-700 for an engine, 200-300 for an engine stand, and 200 in mods...well with paycheck i ma getting that is managable. I need a damn garage. All I do is work on my Jeep and I have extra parts that i have taken off laying everywhere.
-
It is done
-
I forgot to ask, how do i get back episode of "Trucks" b/c I think you are on to something in seeing what Stacy did.
-
the web site is http://www.truckstv.com/at first glance, I don't see an episode listing other than for this year. I'm sure if you contact them, they'll help you out.
-
OKay I will ask them.
-
It would be cool if my Jeep got on the show....That would be sweet.
-
The old car club I used to belong to was featured in Sport Compact Car mag a few years back. Unfortunately, niether me nor my car made it into the article. I guess that's what I get for being founder of the Canadian chapter (they probably thought that my car should be in "Dog and Musher" magazine)
-
hahahahahahahahahaha
My Jeep would be perfect though. Tranny needs to be replaced eventually, engine has to be replaced, it is getting a suspension lift, interior needs some work.
-
Well half of the lift is on. I am going to go rent a spring compressor for the coil springs
-
My other half ended up buying spring compressors cos we have lowered every car we have ever owned, and we both love cars n tuning so much i can't see us stopping Great to hear how things are going
-
well it is still only half done, partly because i am not going to work on it alone b/c of high it is jacked up....I mean yeah...Tomorrow it should be done.
-
MAN GET OUR HOPES UP AND CRUSH EM WHY DONT YA!
-
Yeah sometimes, LOL...Has anyone ever taken the front linkage off a Jeep Cherokee before?
-
YES YES YES YES YES YES...It took 3 days but I got the lower control arms to line up. Now to put the driveshaft back together.
-
Very cool! Sounds like everything is coming together nicely for you.
-
any luck on getting a used digi-cam for your jeep journal?
-
Nah....I have no money for it.
-
I have finished it all...I am going to retighten all the bolts, then start some repairs, fog lamps, headliner....list is endless.
-
please tell me you're using a torque wrench
-
torque wrench??LOL Yeah I am, I am going to re-tighten after a trip to work early in morning...That way it is about 100 miles driven on new suspension...I was told to really just worry about the u-bolts on the rear axle.
-
also (you know I love spending your money) I hope that you've hit an alignment shop. After any suspention modification, you need an alignment to ensure good handling and even tire wear
