Showers

Shit, that is damm HOT. I love that !!!!

I HIGHLY doubt that you are forced to take showers in any of todays schools...I could easily see lawsuits occuring. Plus...how would they know if you take one or not? What are the PE teachers gonna check? Maybe 20 years ago...but not now.Ive heard showers are optional everywhere I have been. And im sorry...but if you can get a hard on just by talking about girls...well Im sorry but thats sad...you get up wayyy to easy.

I go to a private school where it is required.....

Although school showers are always a source of embarassment they also are one of the best education resources when it comes to learning about the penis, puberty and all that stuff. No teacher or parent can ever explain the topics as well as a few minutes in a shower room with a bunch of other guys.
I'm actually glad that when I was in high school that showers were mandatory and they had merely the open shower rooms rather than individual stalls. Sure we were all embarassed at first but that soon wore off. Oh and as I recall our Jr high sower area did have one stall but no one ever used it; I think we were more afraid of being teased about hiding than about being seen naked.
I also played on the varsity Basketball team and we all showered after every practice and game. I remember we played iin one school a couple times with only stalls and all complained about it; one at a time through stalls takes way tooo long.
Oh and as a final thought, those who get a good workout in PE class will stink by the end of the day if they don't shower. 'tis better to be clean and seen than stinky.

I don't care, I would rather take a shower than smell bad the rest of the day
-
Me too. After exercise I always feel yuchy - being hot and sweaty sux. So I don't care, I'm gonna get clean. As for anyone suing a school for enforcing showers after gym class, maybe someone should sue their asses for not making students shower. After all, all that stench and bacteria floating off all the unwashed guys is not only offensive but unsanitary and unhealthy for everyone.Chuck

Yea I forgot...sweat is unhealthy for you...sorry I forgot.Your retarted lol...the only thing that is bad about not showering after working out is the smell...HOWEVER if you take care of yourself in the first place (deoderent) you will not smell after. Oh...sorry for calling you retarted...i see your from canada...your excused

Do some homework and you'll discover the smell comes from all the bacterial action in a warm moist environment. Sweat consists of water, salt, urea (an ingredient of urine), ammonia, sugar and other chemicals. The smell comes not from the sweat itself but from a combination of microbes munching on the sweat and bacteria making a feast out of old dead skin cells.Sure you can put on loads of deodorant but all that does is mask the smell; it neither removes nor kills bacteria which thrive in your body's warm, dark, moist places. And what about the sweaty parts that I doubt anyone who doesn't have a proclivity for name calling would put deodorant on. Personally I prefer to clean off the bacteria, urea, ammonia and all the other bad stuff. I am not crazy about all those nasties inhabiting my body or the potential consequences of not showering after physical activity. Crotch rot, infections and all that are not my thing. Though those who resort to name calling instead of education may prefer to mask the odours and live with the problems that can arise. Just keep your smelly bacteria to yourself though; I don't want them circulating in my space.

The only time i've taken a shower on a school related incidient was in 6th grade camp, where every guy took the thing with his underwear or swimming shorts on so it wasn't an issue.Im currently a Sr. and it was never required or even "suggested" in any of my Highschool or Jr-High PE classes. If anything it was advised against as we really didn't have time for the things. Regardless, all the showers i've seen are giant open pits essentially with a nozzle about every 3 1/2 feet on the walls. However, now that I think about it there are small individual showers in my PE locker room in the bathroom seciton. I'd imagine there for handy-capped people. To be quite honest and the only advice I can really give on such a matter, as i've gone through life this far, one thing that I have very muched noticed a trait most people have: They could care less about people who they do not know.

some dont...BUT when you do a course of swimming.i have a tip that YOU sould rememder!.wrap a towel on your waist while you change into a swimming suit.might annoy you.
-
depends on ur state, in new york u dont take showers in schools
-
It doesn't have to do with states. Each school has its own policy as to whether showers are required or not.
-
I was on the track and swim teams in school and we had to shower after meets and practice. As others have said boners sometimes do happen and u should just ignore it. If a guy says something ask him why he is lookin'.

Never had to take a shower during school (currently a Junior in High School) although at my old public swimming pool I used to take showers. Sure, there were other guys there, but who cares. It's not like because a couple people see you naked means that you will be judged by the rest of the world. What are they going to say?
