I have been dipping Copenhagen snuff for almost 4 yrs. Not something that I am proud of, and before you even start, I have heard that it is nasty, that it tastes like shit, all that stuff. My question is, can the gum or the patch help or is there another way to kick the habit. I temporarily quit for like 3 weeks then went right back to it. Thanks for the help.

A nicotine gum should help aid you off of the chew.Just buy some, pick a date, and throw out the rest of that chew!

Just quit cold turkey you pussy

Ok then u stop being a moron cold turkey. Not so easy huh? Thats what I thought.

Dont listen to Insearch... They are not happy with their life, so they feel they must bring down everyone else. Just weakness..Some people can do cold turkey, some cant. Just see about a gum or patch and get that nasty stuff out of your life! Good luck!

Not easy? That's your own damn fault ... so you want to use a substance so you won't continue taking another? Smart move.@FaBMX: Last time I checked I was only one person

There's a huge chew problem at my school. The few who want to quit are begging for people to feel sorry for them and to help them..I feel no sympathy. It's their own fault.

Im not asking for sympathy. Just posing a question. I understand that it is my choice, and I dont pass the blame on to anyone else. I know I need to quit, but was wondering it the nicotene replacement methods work the same way as they do for cigarettes.

Why are people being such an ass hole to this guy? All hes asking is methods of quiting. Everyone fucks up get over it. Basicaly its the nicotine youre addicteed too not the chewing as such so gum, patches etc should work. Or you could always start smoking instead
