Well I'm sure youre all gutted about my lack of posts as of lately. Its because world of warcraft has taken over my life. I barely make room for anything anymore. If you ever start playing this game you can say goodbye to your social life. Its so addicting!!!!!!!!!!!

World of Warcraft destroys lives!!!
-
It's so addicting because it's just like Everquest. You have to make payments every month and that's after you've already paid for the game. It's like shopping, you start pointlessly spending money and you don't want to stop. Those creators sure know how to make easy money.
-
ya, its so damn good tho. Theres so much to do and pwning newbies is so funny. Kinda i rip off having to buy the game then make monthly payments but its worth the days of entertainment on it. so far i have spent 3 days and 18 hours on it. Wow that sounds lame now that I'm saying it.

Man you are totally right, my friend is addicted to WOW. We are really scared for him, the uncontrollable scratching, irratibility and constant talk of the ocasional owning he gave a level 25. We are planning an intervention, although treatment for this nasty habit will take years to go away.
-
Ha ha yeah I'm managing to contol the habbit now kinda. I just overslept college by 3 hours and decided fuck it I'm not going in I'm playing WOW lol. Maybe I'l control the habit one day. Tell him the alliance/horde are attacking the place you live at and he needs to be there to defend it because he is level 60, in his confused WOW revolved world this may get him out the house a few hours. My friend lost his gf to WOW lol. He was like "Once I got WOW I couldntnt be fucked with her anymore. Well I'm not that addicteed to eradicate women from my life!!!

I just realiised how that little scam works this weekend. I was In Best Buy grabbing some gadget or something and saw pre-paid WarCraft cards, just like long distance cards. The onlt difference is that the WC card isn't "pay as you play". You buy 60 days and if you don't use it, it's gone. So, you pay and you MUST play.
-
I just pay 8 pounds everymonth direct from my bank i can cancel anytime I want. Its worth the money tho, its fun talking to people and having a good time without having to go anywhere. i have been playing all day. i didnt even go to college, my arse is so sore from sitting here.
-
I've been playing it for about 2 weeks and I love it but I wouldn't say I'm addicted. I'm still getting up every day and going off to uni, still meeting friends for a drink, still having sex with any available woman who passes by and is at least halfway cute and/or interesting, still eating and still doing most of the things I would normally do.Except sleepi...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-
lol thats a good point i will cut out unimportant things like sleep

I know the experience. Final Fantasy XI wasted far too much of my time. I put in nearly 400 hours worth of play time in a little over half a year. Talk about time that could be better spent, you know what I mean? I realize now how I actually got nothing out of playing it. It didn't improve me in any way, I didn't meet any lasting friends (although some people do on MMOs), and it was so addictive.
-
**I disagree with the way of thinking that time spent on doing something is wasted..............you enjoyed the time you played yeah? then it wasn't wasted **
-
Masturbation doesnt produce anything productive but I still do that. Im sure days of my life have been spent with my milkman friend on his deliveries.
-
Exactly Angel! I have met some really awesome people in EQ and EQII. When I play I don't find it a waste of my time because I'm enjoying myself. But we all view things different I suppose.
-
I used to play a bit. Never really got into it, I guess MMO's aren't my thing.
-
You're right, it was fun. I still regret spending as many consecutive hours as I did though and neglecting other things.
-
You should have warned me a few months ago. Tonight is the first time I have posted on here in a long time. Most nights I am busy playing on WoW. It has become so sad when I come home for lunch I eat and play. lol... Soon as I am home from work I am online and playing. It is crazy! I feel bad I am not playing tonight. :-)I look at it as a good thing though. My bro lives down south, and he plays, so we play together. Allows us to keep in touch. lolI agree though, very addicting though.
-
I havnt played it for a week, I just cant be arsed its too repetative and I have more fun things to do now like be with my friends. Its not worth neglecting your friends for a stupid game.
-
Its not worth neglecting your friends for a stupid game. 100% agree. I don't play WoW but I do play EQII. LOVE the game, but I'd rather spent time with my lover than on the game.
-
Yeah I have realised how important my friends are these past coupple of days. In the grand scheme of life there are better things to be doing than get to lvl 60 so I can kill everyone lower levels than me on a computer game. Friends will always be there for you but stupid game wont ^^. Just glad I kicked the addiction before it took over my social life.
