Hey I think Rap is slowly starting to fade away into fad oblivion with all of the new rock bands popping up it was a good summer for rock! But thats just me! What do you think. It would just be a blog with only me talking.

DECLINE OF RAP?????
-
I dunno about fading into fad oblivion, more then it is people are starting to explore more musical genres then strictly hip hop or rap. You're right, rock/alternative rock did have a great summer. Hopefully it'll keep going. But personally I wouldn't really care if Paul Wall or whatever and Lil' jeezy or however you spell his name, did actually fade away...but that's just my opinion.
-
Yeah good point i think i worded it wrong. but not going to change it so i dont confuse people
-
can you name a true rap-artistst? Just like punk, I remember the first rap artist.
-
If it is the decline of rap i could not be happier. Rap sucks. I mean the lyrics are not always so heart felt, and i dunno. From a musical stand point rap is just not worth the time of day.
-
if i can't sing it, i'll talk about it!
-
My opinion??.... Good riddance!
-
ever been to a rap concert? I haven't...i refuse to go. They just suck live. I'm sure there are exceptions but in general I wouldn't have the patience nor the want to go find said exception.
-
Why is mainstream stuff bad?
-
best part of a rap is the end.
-
good pointexcept that you're implying that us white folk can relate to the money and killing better. I'd say that the fantacy, bling-bling life is something that almost no one can relate to except a hip-hop star.
-
naw, don't bother editing it. I know what you meant, I was just pickin' on you
-
Yeah, i found alot of raps like that. Tiz all about the same subject. Im sure there are unknowen artists you could find on the internet and then download their music. Thats what I do. Some of the best bands are ones that are not well knowen, I'm currently trying to get a cd off this really good ska band in australia ^^
-
I still just like hip hop r&b. Actually just anything I can dance to or "dancible". My friend said that rock is dpressing or whatever her opinion is but I mostly listen to anything religious whether its punk rock, country, hip hop, or so on and so forth. :stuck\_out\_tongue\_winking\_eye:

How can i say that its reclining. Its just the more people i talk to the more they are starting to like other bands. Also those discusting degading videos get a lot less play time nowadays i think alternative bands are really starting to break through. And i cant wait until people get over the stupid lyrics of an egotistical rap artist who just watses money on gold teeth.

If you all want to hear some good rap, that's not about the usual shit rappers these days rap about ... I suggest listening to Will Smith's "Lost & Found" ... that is GOOD rap, zero cursing on the entire album and talks about good shit.. just listen and convince yourself. As for all the other rappers... I'm just going to assume that most of the rappers are working on new album's or something ... if not they'll start working on some soon. Kanye West came out with his "Late Registration" not too long ago, which is pretty good ...Soon enough there will be another phase where everyone pops out their album at the same time ... like last year was crazy. Red Light District, The Massacre, The Documentary, Urban Legend, The Hunger For More ... all those came out at pretty much the same time.

I hope not, i dont think i could take another wave! but i guess i gotta dig in with my guns loaded and aimed forward
-
wtf
-
yeah you know what a metaphor is do ya?
-
Good! Can't have 'crap' without 'rap'!!
