Holy fuck the pop ups are getting worse. I am currently downloading the google toolbar for its pop up blocker (and it has a spell check on it ooooo my spelling wont suck as bad). There is no need for as many pop ups that are on this site. If anything it drives me away from the products advertised because I want to kill the fucking company for putting them there AAAAAAARGH

looks like i wont be downloading the toolbar cus it onyl works in IE and firefox and i have just plain old mozilla
-
read stp's thread "no more pop-ups". he spelled out the solution as plainly as humanly possible
-
il give it a read

I dont use IE so his solution does not work

If anyone can spell out the steps to blocking Javascript for this site using other browsers, I'll be glad to add it to the sticky.

i found out my mozilla has a built in pop up blocker that seems to be doing the trick ^^

> plain old mozilla
Is that still being supported? Why don't you use Firefox (or Opera)? I use both of them, and they seem pretty secure. With Firefox set to stop popups and ads, and Norton Internet Security with ad blocking and popup blocking enabled, I get zero popups on this site.
Edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention disabling obnoxious Javascript features, mentioned below.

fire fox glitxhes with the bookmarks toolbar if i have it enabled my screen bounces. i like mozzila alot better than firefox. i find it displays pages better too. i have noticed firefox messes up the layout of some pages.

Modifying Javascript Settings in FirefoxGo to tools -> options, then in the left margin click on Web Features. At the bottom of the list there will be a box to Enable Javascript. To just disable Javascript, uncheck that box.If you you want to modify Javascript's functionality so that it can still work, but not let Web sites mess with your windows, then to the right of the Enable Javascript box, click on Advanced and disable (i.e., uncheck) the following Javascript features:o Move or resize existing windowso Raise or lower windowso Hide the status barThat's what I do, and that plus a firewall program (NIS) totally keeps away the popups for me, yet the "important" Javascript features can still function.
