Hi, somtimes I get this pain in my head, usualy if I suddenly turn or move my head, but occasionaly it has happened with reasonably little movement (as far as I can remember). It is hard to describe this pain but it is quite concentrated rather than a general pain like a headache for example, and it feels as though it shoots from the back of my head over to the front in a line, usualy the pain only lasts for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. The closest thing I can describe it as, is a hot tingle almost, like I caught a nerve or something. This is only something that seems to have happened over the last couple of years (I'm 18 if that helps), but has happened 3 times in the last week! Any ideas what this or if it has happened to anyone else, then your reply is much appreciated.

What could this be?

Could it be something like a pinched nerve in your neck, or some other neck joint problem?

See a doctor? I used to get a sore head when I moved it but thats cus I used top gell my hair then shake my head around so it looked all messy and my head didnt seem to like that being done everyday.

not sure, but i had these pains too it happened twice. not sure if ur pain is severe, but the pains last for 20 - 30 seconds. and it hurts SOOOOOOOOO MUCH. I get these pains and all i have to do is lie down and suck up the pain i can't move my body it just hurts soooo much. Funny thing is that both these incidents happened while i was masterbating and my neck was curved down alot staring at the "floor". but i stopped doing that and it never happened for awhile. So ya. sigh i hope this helps.
