The weight isn't hard to keep off like many other diets.The reason this diet works is because the body does not produce as much insulin and the stored energy (such as fat) is burned. The high fat you are consuming is not turned into fat to be stored on the body and is passed through the body more easily.The reason other diets do not work goes back to the early times of mankind. In the times of early mankind, food sources were not plentiful. People went long amounts of time without eating, and so a storage energy (fat) was created for the body to survive on. Whenever a person digests food after a prolonged amount of time without it, the energy is excessively stored as fat. Hence, when a person goes on a common diet, they may lose fat while they're on the diet, but once they get off they will gain a lot of fat on their body.DO NOT stay on this diet for longer than 2 weeks. Prolonged amount of time on this diet can lead to health problems such as weakening of the bones, etc. This diet is also not appropriate for diabetics.

Yeah I went on that diet I went from 176 pounds to about 165 pounds . Now I weigh 155.

So let me get this straight.. For 2 weeks.. I should eat.. chips? steak? drink soda? ( and water.. can't live without it ) or what? :confused: Does this seriously work.. I don't want ot get fatter

Steak is fine. Chips and Soda have a lot of carbohydrates in it. You just have to pay attention to what has carbs and what doesn't.

I can't find the link to that diet anywhere. You can't do this diet longterm because it does terrible things to your body otherwise. Weak bones, etc.If you're interested, look at www.techtv.com and choose the show called 'body hits'. It's located somewhere in there, but I can't find it.
