-
If it says 1 week then you should be fine. One month is the safest though. Why do you want to be pregnant? How old are you? Are you and your BF financially and emotionally stable enough to have a baby? Kids are a huge responsibility. Don't do it for the wrong reasons. If you are having emotional issues, having a baby is not going to fix it.

Well I haven't really been taking the pills at the same time couldn't that make me pregnant 2 nd at the time I was taking medication advil cold and sinus and abuterol for my asthma I was reading an article and it said when you take anti biotics that the pills don't work even though I wasn't taking a perscription for anti biotics but its still a medication I also read an article saying that if you don't take the pills everyday at the same time you can get pregnant so what do you think???
-
Have you read the General Precautions (section 4) of the prescribing inforation? It describes what drugs might interact with the pill, and neither one you mentioned is on the list (given the popluarity of Advil, that's a good thing). Some antibiotics might interfere with the pill's effectiveness.I assume that the doctor who prescribed your b/c pill knows about whatever else you are taking. In any case, if there's a question, no matter what anyone says, you're still going to wonder. I'd recommend a pregnancy test kit, avalable at your local pharmacy. If you're worried about someone recognizing you, you can have a trusted friend get it for you, or you can pick it up in another town.A lot of young women feel the urge to have a baby when they're feeling lonely or unloved. But having a baby will have a massively profound effect on you life. You really need to think it through. If you're not in a good situation, and not in a good place emotionally, it's not fair to bring a baby into the situation.

Holy sh*t lol, that was the world record for the longest run-on sentence! If you were on the 3rd week of your pills when he came in you, then you should be fine and NOT preggy. If you're still worried, take a pregnancy test.
-
she said she wasn't taking them at the same time, so that can leave the window open. she should take a preg test to just clear her mind, with clear blue
-
personally i think with any type of medication you should always be on the safe side, your body needs to get used to the new chemicals, im not on the same pill as you but i've been on few different ones, an dtheyve all said it was a 1 month period that you had to wait to have full effecti know you've probably heard it before but the idea of having a baby sometimes outrules your sense of reality like sdp said you need to take into account a whole range of factors. also if your having difficulties with your boyfriend at the moment you should really question if this is a stable decision you are making.i mean whats the rush? you have plenty of time to have a baby, your young and you should enjoy it..whatever makes you happy...

> GOOD NEWS!!!!!!! I'M NOT PREGNANT......... ND I CAN GO BAC TO THE GYM LOL YEA
Good for you. Exercise shouldn't have been a problem in the first few weeks of pregnancy, in any case. You certainly shouldn't have been haveing morning sickness, etc.
> THAT WAS FOR THAT GUY WHO STOOD JUDGING ME IIGHT I'M OUTIE
I'm an innie. And I'm not sure why you needed to wait for your period to show up, rather than getting a fifteen dollar pregnancy test. Or a free one at a family planning clinic. Stress could have thrown off the timing of your period, and you might have gone on weeks longer not knowing.
-
no no no your not an innie your a ninny :P jk
-
Ninny or nouty, bleeding isn't proof of non-pregnanacy, is it? (I assume that if it's sustained and heavy, it is.)
-
Nope most women have their period their first month
-
their first monthOn the first month of pregnancy?? what exactly does the uterus flush out??
-
I have to disagree java, i have had 3 kids, and all my friends are mothers and the only ones who have bled during the first trimester were watched VERY carefully for signs of miscarriage. A missed period is one of the first signs of pregnancy cos you don't bleed (normally) once your pregnant.
-
I'll be the first to admit that I know little about a women's plumbing, but my wifes best friend kept having her period until, like, the sixth or seventh month, maybe it was even throughout the pergnancy, don't really remember. How ever long it was it was by no means, what I would consider, normal. If I remember right, and I may not, how she found out she was pregnant was from the morning sickness, or thinking something else was wrong. Whatever it was that caused her to go tho the doctor it wasn't the thought of pregnancy. Anyway, I through that out there for what it's worth.
-
Oh i agree that some women bleed during pregnancy, i was replying to javas post that most women bleed in their first month.........'some' women may bleed, but its not the norm.
-
um yeah, some women have thier periods through pregnancy.. its rare, but common to have the first few.. you should still be careful and find out properly with a test and what not.
