I have been with my girlfriend for about 4 months and have very rarely worn a condom. About a week ago I noticed my urethra being a little red and it seemed a little inflamed. And when I would urinate it did not really burn at all but it felt as if i was trying to pee while pinching the tip closed. As if it built up pressure or something. Then a few days later I noticed some fluid resting at the tip of the urethra which looked similar to semen. I am obviously going to get an std test but I have other questions. Since chlamydia is bacterial can it develope from having unprotected sex even if my girlfriend did not have it. For example, not being clean or having sex with her and not showering until the next night etc. I read that symptoms usually appear 1-3 weeks after infection. So does that mean she got infected by someone else within the 3 month period we were going out? Or is it possible for her to have had it since I met her and it took me 3 months to get infected? Or is it possible that I was infected from her 4 months ago and just have not showed symptoms until now? Bottom line is I want to know if she definately cheated on me or if she had just had it this whole time and it took me a few months to have symptoms. As far as treatment goes I am assuming I would get penacillan. I have about 7 pills of penacillan from a year ago for whatever reason is it possible that these can cure it or do I need to get 30 or so and take them 3 times daily?
Sorry for all of the questions but I really appreciate any help that is given.
Also, the last few times having sex she has smelled pretty bad and she is not on her rag.
Thanks in advance

It can't just spontaneously arise out of nothing. It's hard to say what you have based on the symptoms you described, but you and your girlfriend both need to get tested. Otherwise, all we can do is guess, which doesn't serve much of a purpose. It's possible to be infected with clamydia, or other pathogens, for a long time without showing symptoms. You can't jump to conclusions about cheating.

Just as an update my girlfriend and I got tested. We both tested positive for chlamydia. If anyone even notices anything different I reccomend to get tested right away. We were given 1000 mg of something that started with a z to cure it. Although my girlfriend that I have been with for about 5 months says she has never cheated on me I still read that usually symptoms occur 1-3 weeks after infection. Is it possible that I just didn't get it 5 months ago and just got it now? I'm just worried that she cheated on me and won't fess up to it. What do you guys think?

Zithromax???
5 months and now you get it? It sounds suspicious to me.

ben through that, sorta?anyways its posible to have it and never have symptoms of any kind. Id think that if you had it for 5 months and it showed symptoms it woulda showed up before instead of later. I got a cal from a girl I used to hump on a sei regular basis and was infroed that she tested posative and didnt know when she got it(something about getting pregnant later on and never knew she had it till during tstig becaue of pregnancy she found out)Anyways I went I got tested and they gave me the cure for it that day. its chalky and tastes like bananas! so I take that damned cure and now hate bananas cant even stand the bastards! a week later the test results come back and I spent that mone of rhte cure for nothing! no I didnt have it and I can tell you that it was the best money I ever spent and hte most relief I ever felt!

Definitely, an STD cannot come from an uninfected partner and burniong and redness in the urthra doesn't not always equal an STD. A large percentage of genital problems are not sexually transmitted. Chlamydia, however is asymptomatic in most people. You could just now becomming symptomatic, but that doesn't mean, if you have chlamydia, that you just got it.
