there are too many people that don't give anything and don't even careHave you been reading my post? My point is that not many people care at all .... most people that give somethign only care for that period of time, later on they won't care anymore ... that's not really caring.

C'mon...
-
yeah i have been reading, but whether they give JUST on a special occasion like thanksgiving or christmas etc doesn't mean shit, and LEAST THEY ARE GIVING - which was my point..........sigh
-
**yeah it gives me a real buzz too...........and i think more kids would be willing to help out if they were asked, they don't see the politics behind things like the famine in ethiopia, for example, they just see other children suffering and want to help. My kids, and the scout group i run do a lot for different charities throughout the year, it does them the world of good to know that not everyone is as privaliged (sp?) as they are. **

The organisation I belong to started to exceed the $2M/day of charitable contributions in North America 10 years ago and it keeps going up.I don't mean that we or I am better than anyone, just that charity still lives in the hearts of many.I occasionally grasp a straws of hope in this piece of shit world and sometimes I even find one.

http://www.digitalcharity.com/ITs Amazing, Have you ever heard of this site? By simply clicking a few buttons you can help save the enviroment and other awesome causes. I found it while surfing the internet last night...Its Deffinatly worth while, and NO reason anyone cant do that. Its free.

i remember hearing about this quite a few years ago. Maybe not this site specifically.
Maybe someone here who is a webmaster could give us some indication of what banner advertising might actually be worth. -
I give what money I can, when I can. It's not that I don't care, but I'm not rich. I'm just a student living hand to mouth. I can't afford to do things for my own family (my family is pretty comfortable but I'll be damned if I'm asking for handouts..I'm trying to learn to be independent). However, I do know that people have it worse than me and I do save what money I can and donate it. I can't do it all the time right now because I really am trying to learn independence and not count on my parents for anything. But when this nursing stuff finally kicks in I'll be able to donate more often which I'll be glad about. I do however, donate my time and volunteer in those soup kitchens you were talking about Java.

You should stay off the meth, you seem to be a nicer guy on the forums when you're not coming off it as you said you were.
-
I have to stay on it. It was just my first day. Now its all better. When I say 'Meth' .. I was just using the short name for 'Methylphenidate' ... Type it into Google.

It's Ritalin. Used to treat ADHD. But normally only used in children under the age of 6 so I can't figure out why Fab would be on it unless he has narcolepsy (Ritalin is used to treat narcolepsy in adults) or if he's got a mild form of depression. I could be wrong but I got that straight out of my drug book.
-
Thats what the doctor prescribed for my ADD. Its Ritalin LA 10mg. I take it twice a day. First day was weird, but now its okay. I think the first day, it was all in my head because Im real weird when it comes to taking prescription drugs. Plus just needing the meds made me feel like I was stupid
-
Plus just needing the meds made me feel like I was stupidIt shouldn't make you feel more stupid than if you take an Advil for a headache. If it helps more than it harms, it's great.
-
Yeah.. I know and its helping me alot so far. Its weird being able to focus because Im so used to just not being able to. I dont talk about random things anymore. I dont get lost during hw.
-
It may not be for everyone, but it sounds like a great thing for you. I'm glad your doc tried it.
-
Sorry, I thought you meant crystal meth. Big difference, lol. It's just that you seemed kind of hyper the way your posts came across. When I tried Riddlin for my ADD many years ago, I got really emotional and every little thing bugged me. Let's just say that I stopped using it within a couple of weeks.

Hell nah... I aint never touching that shit. If I were to do that, I would be better off putting a pistol to my head.I've seen people go down that path... Its never good. I've watched people do it (Lines and smoked) .. Just doesn't look very fun.
