- Male or Female? Female2. Age? 143. At what age did you lose your virginity? If a virgin, put that. Virgin4. What influenced you to lose it at this age? Or what has influenced you to not lose your virginity? I'm personally not ready and I'd like to wait till I'm a bit older when I'm a little bit more responsible. 6. Do you feel teenagers are getting younger and younger when they begin having sex? Why do you believe this is happening? Yes, becuase it may be from peer pressure or just to show off. Or they feel they want to experience something new. Though they shouldn't know about sex at such a young age, it may also be because of what they are exposed to. For me it's peer pressure. I don't give into it but it stinks to hear the girls in the locker room talk about their sexual experiences when they're my exact age. Pretty nasty too.7. Does the media have an impact on your thoughts toward sex? Explain Definately, almost every commercial that comes on tv has to do with something sexual. The music industry does the same thing. I think that if people see it on tv with their favorite celebrity or whatever they figure they should too. 8. What do you feel influences any teen to have sex? Maybe what they see... sexual desires. They just don't really care for the consequences I guess.9. Do you feel pressured to have sex? By who? Most of the time. Mostly by my friends and my ex-boyfriend who was REALLY into it (who happened to be Japanese but that didn't go too well). But I have diversions that keep from being tempted by that sort of thing.10. Who should be involved in influencing young teens and pre-teens not to have sex (school, parents, ect.)? How should they be involved? Parents, schools, older siblings, etc. But sadly no one does that anymore. At least not most. Which is why teen pregnancy is so high, and abortions. Sad that it's at a young age too but I just don't like when people always say you're not supposed to do this and that at such a young age but they talk about their sexual acts all the time. That's being a hypocrite. Actions speaker louder than words. Or rather practice what you preach. 11. Do teens need to be better informed of consequences of their decision? What are ways of doing this? Yeah. But I dono't think it matters how because they won't listen anyway. Tell them something and they'll do just the opposite. But a good way would be to lead by example. Explain to them the diseases they could catch and that there are more important things to do in life before then.12. If you could give anyone advice, still a virgin, what would you give him or her? If you are still a virgin what are some reasons others should wait also? I guess they should wait until they feel they are ready. Keep themselves pure until they are an appropriate age. And make sure you are with the right person. It's rare to find someone who's a virgin now days, so if there are those people that like to "stand out" and "be proud of what they are" that would be perfect.

Why do you doubt her age?

- Male or Female? Female 2. Age? 193. At what age did you lose your virginity? If a virgin, put that. Virgin 4. What influenced you to lose it at this age? Or what has influenced you to not lose your virginity? I’m still very much a virgin for several reasons. 1) I haven’t found the person that I feel that I could share that type of intimacy with 2) unplanned pregnancies 3) STDs 5. Do you regret the age you lost it at? If so why? Question doesn’t apply to me… 6. Do you feel teenagers are getting younger and younger when they begin having sex? Why do you believe this is happening? I believe that it has to do with being misinformed, peer pressure, and because the media makes “sex” sound so intriguing and I’m sure it is, but people who do not fully understand the consequences should not be having sex because they are in no way capable of handling the responsibilities of it. 7. Does the media have an impact on your thoughts toward sex? Explain Of course it does, haven’t you ever heard the saying “Sex sells”. Commercials, sitcoms, the music industry, Celebrities, they all present the idea that sex is okay for everyone and everyone should be doing it. I’m sorry but it’s not okay for everyone, babies should not be making babies!8. What do you feel influences any teen to have sex? the moronic ideals of their peers, pressure from the media, the fact that most young people do not understand the responsibilities that go with sex, false idialogies, sexual disires that they think they must act on, thinking that if they follow the crowd they’ll be cool 9. Do you feel pressured to have sex? By who? I do at times but I know what’s best for me and when I’m ready to share my body with someone else, I will. 10. Who should be involved in influencing young teens and pre-teens not to have sex (school, parents, ect.)? How should they be involved? Both the school and the parents should be involoved. They should have open and unbiased discussions with their children11. Do teens need to be better informed of consequences of their decision? What are ways of doing this? Yes – If they have questions about sex and their bodies they should be able to go to a responsible adult instead of their friends with idiotic ideas to get their questions answered. Parents and schools need to step in and teach these kids that there are downsides to sex and its not all about a few moments of pleasure. 12. If you could give anyone advice, still a virgin, what would you give him or her? If you are still a virgin what are some reasons others should wait also? I say wait till you’re ready. Do not allow people to pressure you into doing something you know you’re not ready for. Wait till you have an emotional connection with that person and make sure you are mature enough to except all the consequences of sex before you just dive in. Just wait till you know the time is right.

April 11, 1991... JapanFan14...14! Is there something that I don't know? Oh and great post Katie.

- Male or Female? Female2. Age? 253. At what age did you lose your virginity? 204. What influenced you to lose it at this age? I was in love, and I was also curious5. Do you regret the age you lost it at? If so why? I don't regret it, but I wasn't ready. I didn't know what I was doing, my expectations weren't met and my anxiety over it led to a sexual dysfunction.6. Do you feel teenagers are getting younger and younger when they begin having sex? Why do you believe this is happening? The media and peers make them want to have sex.7. Does the media have an impact on your thoughts toward sex? Well I get annoyed with the media. The media makes sex out to be this great, glamorus thing and in reality, that's not how it is at first, and that probably also had something to do with my negative issues with sex that I used to have.8. What do you feel influences any teen to have sex? media and peers9. Do you feel pressured to have sex? By who? my boyfriend10. Who should be involved in influencing young teens and pre-teens not to have sex (school, parents, ect.)? How should they be involved? parents, school, whoever. By being honest about why it can suck to have sex at a young age. However, in addition to discouraging young kids to have sex, the parents and school should also educate the teens on how to practice safe sex if they chose to do so. Lay out all the facts, good and bad, and all the options.11. Do teens need to be better informed of consequences of their decision? What are ways of doing this? see above12. If you could give anyone advice, still a virgin, what would you give him or her? Don't be in a rush to have sex. it isn't worth it if you aren't ready. make sure it's with someone you care about and who cares about you. don't expect it to be great at first. don't approach sex with expectations of how it should be. That will only make it dissapointing when the expectations aren't met. approach sex with an open mind and be sure to communicate with your partner so you can learn what works for one another. The most important thing is to practice safe sex.

- Male or Female? Female 2. Age? 17 3. At what age did you lose your virginity? If a virgin, put that. 17 4. What influenced you to lose it at this age? Or what has influenced you to not lose your virginity? I felt I knew it was the right time for me 5. Do you regret the age you lost it at? If so why? nope, I am still with the guy I lost it to 6. Do you feel teenagers are getting younger and younger when they begin having sex? Why do you believe this is happening? yes I do, mainly due to peer pressure and the desire to fit in. 7. Does the media have an impact on your thoughts toward sex? Explain hmm.. not really, but a lot of commercials and things are advertising sex. Also there are alot of music videos that seem to be just based on sex for no apparent reason (eg. that eric prydz, call me or whatever its called...whats the point in that??!) 8. What do you feel influences any teen to have sex? As above - the desire to do something "adult" or to fit in. I don't know really!! Hormones?! lol 9. Do you feel pressured to have sex? By who? No.. I have sex when I want to 10. Who should be involved in influencing young teens and pre-teens not to have sex (school, parents, ect.)? How should they be involved? I think mainly the parents should talk to their childrena bout sex, about their feelings towards it and what it means to them. They should talk openly without it being a taboo subject! 11. Do teens need to be better informed of consequences of their decision? What are ways of doing this? yes!! because they just don't realise how easy it is to get pregnant or catch something!!!!!! And ways of doing this? Parents, again, need to talk about it, and schools need to try and help kids make the right decisions for them 12. If you could give anyone advice, still a virgin, what would you give him or her? If you are still a virgin what are some reasons others should wait also? Wait till you’re ready, and you know you are ready. When you get to the moment, don't feel tooscared to back out if it feels wrong to you. Sleep with someone because you actually feel something for them - its not just sex. It's dangerous if you aren't completely ready.

No, I think more and more people are waiting. I think that the novelty of rebellious activity like sex has worn off and now more and more people do it for love and that crap 7. Does the media have an impact on your thoughts toward sex? Explain Media says sex is good, but sex is bad. Hard to have an opinion of the media's influence when they prech both sides of the argument 8. What do you feel influences any teen to have sex? Its sex! Every teen wants to have sex and some people find the right partner early enough to do it. Oh, and eh.... the media! 9. Do you feel pressured to have sex? By who? No, quite the opposite. Who should be involved in influencing young teens and pre-teens not to have sex (school, parents, ect.)? How should they be involved? Why should they be involved? Its nobodies decision except for the 2 involved. (or 3, depends on how kinky they are.) The only thing that schools and parents should do is warn about the possible consequences and how to prevent them. In a non anti-sex way 11. Do teens need to be better informed of consequences of their decision? What are ways of doing this? Give them condoms, or explain how its not embaressing to buy them, and technically they should be proud of themselves, they're gonna get laid! 12. If you could give anyone advice, still a virgin, what would you give him or her? If you are still a virgin what are some reasons others should wait also? Do it when you want to, with someone you trust. Don't hold yourself back out of fear, but don't rush into it because of pressure.

- Sex: Male2. Age: 183. Virgin: Yes4. What influenced you to lose it at this age? Or what has influenced you to not lose your virginity? Just haven't found the right person yet. Also would like to give it to someone special.5. Do you regret the age you lost it at? If so why? No, mainly because I don't know yet.6. Do you feel teenagers are getting younger and younger when they begin having sex? Why do you believe this is happening? In my opinion, it is more of the media, teenagers are blasted with sexy barely naked man/woman. Giving them thoughts and making them more horny I guess.7. Does the media have an impact on your thoughts toward sex? Not really, my culture is very strict, especially my parents. 8. What do you feel influences any teen to have sex? Their hormones, their BG/GF.9. Do you feel pressured to have sex? By who? No.10. Who should be involved in influencing young teens and pre-teens not to have sex (school, parents, ect.)? How should they be involved? I am sure their parents etc... did what they can, at the end, we are the one to make the decision.11. Do teens need to be better informed of consequences of their decision? What are ways of doing this? Yes, as for ways , I would think blasting ads on TV/Internet, etc... about the consequences of sex, both good and bad, and let them decide.12. If you could give anyone advice, still a virgin, what would you give him or her? If you are still a virgin what are some reasons others should wait also? I would say lose it when you think so, but don't regret it since it is your own decision.

- Female2. 143. 13..Uhgg.. Too young I know..but it was like 4 days before I turned 14.4. This guy I really liked, wanted to, I wasn't exactly sure if I wanted to or not, but, I did it.5. In some ways.. But not because of my age, well for the most part, for the person I was with, he wasn't the right one, and at the time I just wasn't ready, and I got fooled into it.6. Well I think a lot of teenagers get pressured into doing such actions, I mean 11 year olds having sex, thats just wrong. I think once your in highschool, or 14 or so, its not as bad.. Well it shouldn't be classified into ages, but I am just saying.. And only if you feel you are emotionally and physically ready, don't do anything you aren't ready for, trust me, you will regret it. 7. Music, tv shows, magazines, all of these thing's have sexual things in them, that of course have some impact on the way we think towards sex. 8. Depends. Some people, because they are actually ready, and they feel they love the person and want toshow them they love them, some want to experiment, (most actually), sometimes peer pressure, the media can have an effect also. 9. I did, but not anymore. The guy I was with was like 4 years older then me, and he told me if I really liked him blah blah blah.. He made me feel kind of bad, and I thought I loved him, adn I was afraid to lose him, so I did it.. and At this point we werent even dating anymore, 'friends with benefits' which sucked major ass, but, nothing I can do now..10. Parents, in some cases, they can help, because they are experienced, friends, but I think mostly people need to find out things for themselves, you cant just go by what everyone else did or what everyone else thinks or feels, you need to do what you want, think, feel, and figure out things for yourself. That's life. That's how you learn.11. Ahh, kinda.. Like for example, I almost got pregnant.. Worse thing that ever happened to me.. And you know, you think 'nah that couldn't happen to me.. it can't..' but the scarey part is, it can! So you need to be careful, and think of what your doing before you do it.12. Don't rush into anything. Do NOT do anything you don't want to do. Your virginity is special, and who you give it to, matters. Trust me, if you do something you don't want to do, or your not ready for, to make someone else happy, you wont feel right and you'll regret it, and thats something that stays with you forever.. So be careful. Make sure they are the right one, that your physically and emotionally ready, that you know the consiquences and that you are safe. And also, don't do it too young.. It is true that the younger you do it, you can get addicited, like if you start having sex at like 13, (doesnt always happen..I know..lol) you can get addicted and/or end up losing interest. So remember all of that.
