Alcohol causes more damage to a person's body than weed does. Can't say I know how the effects of being high compare to being drunk compare though.

Weed

alchy causes no harm? holy jesus fuck. I spout off alot but I like to atleast havea basic grasp of what I talking about. how many people die form drinking every year? Now aside form drunk driving and alchy poisening (been on the increase for a few years now in colleges espesially) but form thier liver falling to shit.and harmless is far from right even on the most basic level.drink all the time go ahead, Ill sit back and watch the circulation goto hell and soon youl have a big red nose fromteh broken blood vessles. It is FAR more damageing then weed. Now I dirnk, and I smoke a little here and there. but I know the risks of what I am doing ot myself and I dont use either one on a constant basis any more. it been 2 weeks since I burned a lil smoke and probally near 2 months isnce I was drunk. I cant say I havent had a beer or two here and there, but I have not so much as caught a buzz just one or two with dinner or working on the car.If your going ot drink for christ sake look into what it does to you and understand what your doing when you do it. If you wont do that then atleast dont run your mouth and make yourself look like an inane ass.

Dirt weed smells like urine but good weed has a wonderful inviting aroma.

Well fuck me. I was cruising at a site Helms suggested in another post looking some shit up that I was curious about and look what I found.driving while stonedNow I know from my personal experience I couldnt drive while stone I tried and I thought I was doing 80 and I was doing 10 mph. Im far to fuckered when I smoke to ever drive but there is evidence that it not as bad for everyone.I can swear and attest to the fact that I never could and I wont even try
-
If somethings in front of my car, I register it immediate stoned or not, as long as my eyes are on the road I know what to do.I don't know how you can know this objectively. You are amazing.> If I'm playing russian roulette then I'm obviously quite good at it.You're "good at it" until you fail. Then you're not good at it.Erowid: "There have been a number of studies which have looked at this issue and most have found that cannabis smoking does degrade driving performance."Isn't Erowid something you take pretty seriously?
-
Are you two still discussing whether driving high/not high is good?
You guys have been talking about that for ages, I thought you stopped argueing about that a while ago because you agreed no one would ever give in?
-
Are you...I guess so.> I thought...I guess not.

I dont know how serious that site should be taken. I just found it yesterday and had a look around. Most of the information there seems pretty accurate based on my own experiences with various drugs. At this time I have no reason to discredit thier information. According to them you can drive high. I know for fact I cant Iv tried once and it scared teh shit out of me, I cant change the showerhead in my bathroom stoned let alone operate a vehichle in a safe manner. I was just putting up the only information Id found on the specifics of driving while high. Maybe Im wired different from the rest of the population because if I get high and do do precious little aside from giggle and forget what i was talking about or laughing about just a few seconds before. I honestly dont think tht lends its self wel to operating a car.
-
According to them you can drive high.Huh?I cited a quote from their site, above, where Erowid said that research showed that driving performance is impaired when you're stoned. They said it's even much worse if you're stoned and drunk.
-
I don't really care what anyone thinks or says. I can do it when I have to but it's not like I just would say "Hey I'm stoned let's go driving," I'm like on the way home from a house I was smoking at or something. Maybe not everyone can do it but it's really played out on the forums to be such a deadly, dangerous act equated with driving drunk (it's completely different).
-
I don't really care what anyone thinks or says. Clearly that's so.No one is saying that you're a staggering buffoon when you're stoned. The issue is, for the 20th time, that your reflexes may be subtly impaired, and if they are, you can't know that subjectively. In other words, by smoking pot, you're raising the risk when you're driving. You may have a very close call that you would be able to negotiate if you're straight, but not if you're stoned. But you won't even take Erowid's word for it. You're in denial, and you don't care. I understand that.
-
Yeah denial that's it. Whatever 'research' you pull out of your ass clearly does not apply to me, I've told you time and time again that I'm a functional driver high, I don't swerve all over the place and my reaction time is not at all delayed. If I can catch a ball stoned why can I not negotiate a curve?
-
Erowid pulled the research out of their own ass. Of course it doesn't apply to you, because you're not quite human. As a trancendant being, you know that your reaction time isn't affected in the least. The word "imperceptible" doesn't apply to you, if "you" is the proper word to use when addessing a being such as you.You keep making believe you don't understand the concept of "a little bit", or that if your timing and reflexes are impaired just a little bit, there's a chance that it will cause you to have an accident that you would otherwise avoid. Impairment is not black-and-white, all-or-nothing. It's a matter of degree. But since the world is just another thing to be f**ked up the ass, why does it matter, right? I mean, that's what it's done to you, so screw it. Right?
-
Maybe I'm the .0001% exception. Of all drivers I've known who drive high, none of them have been responsible for an accident while under the influence of pot, and they've driven lots of times baked. Only one person I know who was high at the time of his accident, and it wasn't his fault, some old people were in the middle of the road and hit him head on, really there was nothing he could have done because they were coming up a hill and he couldnt see them to avoid stoned or not, there were no fatalities i dont think.
Lack of sleep is more of a danger than being high, when you just pass out at the wheel that can be fatal but being stoned really isnt a risk if you know what youre doing.
-
Any form of impairment is bad when you're driving, or doing anything involving safety, whether it's lack of sleep, bad mood, drugs, alcohol...whatever.Your analysis of driving stoned is invalid in many ways, but if you're dead set in believing what you want to believe, no matter what, then so be it.
