My first post here: a tad nervous about it.I've had a little issue with my foreskin. I don't know why, but there is a small strip of skin that is attached to the head of my penis. I can retract the foreskin pretty far, but that restricts it then. It's on the inside of my foreskin and seems like an extra "flap" of skin attached to it. This is on the front of my head also, like I am staring down at it. I have no idea what to do. It's extremely irritating and I just want it to not be attached anymore. I've tried stretching for a while and it's not becoming unattached. Can someone please help me?

Foreskin Question

Welcome, bassplayer14. I would have thought you were talking about the frenulum, which is a strip of skin that attaches the foreskin to the underside of the head and is meant to be there - except that you are talking, I take it, about something on the top side. That sounds like it's a skin bridge, which is a not uncommon thing to happen. It can be cut by the doctor under local anaesthetic.

This is probably a really stupid and unsafe question, but is there any way to even do this at home? I'll go to the doctor if I have to, and I probably shouldn't be embarrased about this, but I can't help it. It already seems like there were tiny "holes" in it without me even doing anything to it.

It probably could be, if you have enough nerve, and make sure you use disinfected tools and disinfect the skin. But you'd want to know you were doing the right thing, and for that you really need a doctor. They've seen everything, and they are very professional about it.

It sounds like a skin bridge but that usually only happens to those who are circumcised. It seems very unusual for an intact guy. Perhaps this is just a very stubborn adhesion. If so, then with regular pressure from stretching, it should help it separate (if that is what it is).

If it's not a skin bridge and the bit you were referring to is indeed the frenulum (Google Images has plenty of example pix) then you should think twice about cutting it. The frenulum on your penis is there for a reason, just like the frenulum under your tongue prevents the tongue from being swallowed. If still in doubt, seek professional medical assistance.John
