Tell ya what, If my kids did that to me I know what I have on my puter and Id be kicking thier ass for a few reasons over it.They have thier own coputer in thier room and through my router I can block sites from thier IP address. I have xp pro on all of my computers. they have thier own profiles and I can tell who looked at what and they dont have admin rights so they cant change programs or settings. If they were to use my laptop or either of my two desktops they better have a good reason since they have one of thier own.with either 2000 or xp you can have individual users profiles set up. Maybe the rents best start using this feature or upgrade to it to control the access thier kids have if they are going to have things that are not appropriate for other users stored on the computer thats shared.Along with all of that you can get a program that blocks any matrial you dot want from being accessed. Maybe that what mommy and daddy best be doing to keep prying young impressionable mids like that from seeing the stuff thats meant for the adults. Your dad looks at prn? so what. so do millions of people world wide and Id bet your mother knows he does, does she know you do? its up them as responsible adults to put a stop to underage children viewing it. Give me thier email addresses and Ill help them to set thier computer up to make sure that you dont have to fret over this dilema any more.

My dad looks at porn!

Ok, I got your sarcasm, but I see you're right. This "joke" is too a light-headed way.
As I have also mentioned before, discovering that your father is watching porn isn't a big deal and it's better not to confront him. If he downloads from the internet pictures and movies and your computer crashes because of some dialers, just simply erase them (if it's your pc) and clear history.
Leave him, he isn't commiting any crime...

I don't think there is a need to confront him but if it bothers you that much maybe you should talk to him about it. I can understand how it would annoy you to find it or coma across it at some point. My friends and I practically spazz out when there's a pop up on the computer. You'd think the world was coming to the end they way we were screaming lol. But if it get's to a certain point just let him know.

"Ok, I got your sarcasm, but I see you're right. This "joke" is too a light-headed way."nataku, I wasn't being sarcastic, I was agreeing with you. If the OP, for whatever warped reason, really feels that he has to comfront dad, then I think your right the only way to go about it is to do it in a light hearted manner that can easily be laughed off. I think that this approach is the only way to maybe let dad save a little face in what will undoubtedly be an embarrassing stituation. Think about it would you want your kid coming to you all serious about it and then thinking "My god, my own son thinks daddy is perv. We're going to have to sit down and have a long awkward talk about this...Oh why, Oh why did I ever look at porn...whoa is me whoa is me. sob, sob" Like I said, I don't really get why the OP think he needs to have the talk with dad, but if he's going to do it (putting myself in dads shoes) I would rather hear "Hey old man, I caught you. You better cover your track a little better." HaHa HaHa, then "Dad we need to have a talk regarding the pornography on the computer." cringeSo the long and short is nataku, I think your right and I hope, if the OP goes thru with this, he takes your advice.Anyway take care, and to the OP, think about this long and hard before you have this little talk. I think all your gonna do is embarrass the shit out of dad. Do you really think that if mom found the porn he would let you take the blame.

I'm deeply sorry for misjudging your reply, then. I didn't understand right the style in your reply.
