Hey guys, about one year ago, I had a pimple just above my lip. I didn't think anything of it, but I noticed that when it healed, it remained red. I also noticed an open red pore, just below it. The pore never closed and the redness never went away, now there was another red pimple this time on the other side of it. The pimples come and go about every 3 months or so, but the spots always remain red. When I wake up or get out of the shower they are more red...Does anyone have any idea? My assumption is that the open pore is always irritated and that could explain the redness? I do not know, please help me because it has taken over my life. Is it herpes?

Redness on lip that won't heal...

How's this...I have about 2 white spots below where the pimples occur. They are ON my lip, I have done some research and they seem to be oil glands because oil glands on the lip appear as white circles. Anyways, each red spot is connected to the oil gland...Now, please, does anyone know anything about this? Could it be the oil glands being irritated, and that is what is causing the pimples and constant redness? Please...Thanks, -Nate
