I've been gone a while... Hi Everyone! hahah. I've been very focused going to work full time and school full time is no joke. But, I'm sitting her now thinking of all of you and it's 1:48am and I have to be at work at 7:00am, but I had to share some info.So a while back I decided I was gonna go on a diet to lose about 10 pounds. I decided I would only eat 1,000 calories a day until I reached my goal weight... soon enough I reached my goal and I upped my calories to a level I'd stay around the same weight. Sooo eventually I got 4 of my co-workers on this diet (all women in their mid to late 30s) and now they're all having to buy new clothes that fit them. They were all doing the carbohydrate diet... I dispise it. But now everyone seems to be happy campers in the office. Ah, a better workplace for everyone.

I think it took about 3 weeks or more to lose 10 lbs. Your body is burning the calories you take in, so it's not deprived of certain nutrients and vitamins. Yet it still taps into that reserve energy (fat) to help out. Kinda like an electic car.

I can't find anything that links decreased calories and ketosis. Starvation maybe.
