One of my old co-workers had the procedure done. She already had four kids, all boys, and really wanted a girl. Her and her husband gave it a try and had a girl. Her best friend tried it a year later, she had 3 girls, and wanted a boy and it worked for her as well.

Theil College is located in town I grew up in PA. It accept everyone and all religions.>He was also an apologist. There are so many religions with so many stories that are not even close to one another, you'd have to have quite an imagination to think they're all pretty much the same.First off, Mr. S was a VERY VERY smart man, have 3 seperate Doctorates. Something tells me I will believe what he taught me before you.Secondly, most religions come from different parts of the world, so there will always be different stories in the religion. But when it comes to the main person God/Jesus they are very similar. Even Greek mythology if you research them they have great simularities.

Well, this was something I heard a while ago, and I was wondering if it was true...? If you have a lot of sex in the month that you get pregnant (like every day, for all of the month of July, and then you find out that you were impregnated in July) you are more likely to have a girl. Likewise, if you had less sex (like twice total in the month of July, and you find out that you were impregnated in July) you are more likely to have a boy. My aunt, who told me all of this, said something about the girl spermies beating out the boy spermies... I wasn't really following her, since back when she told me, I didn't even know that much about sex.

it might be true, it may be because a man can father hundreds of babies, women on the other hand cant.
-
OK, what you said has nothing to do with what she just said.ajmakoko: Thats not true. All embryos are female until after 3 weeks then some factors (not sure what they are) later decide the gender of the baby. Sperm do not have gender nor do they have any influence over the X or Y chromosones in the embryo.

alright sorry!!!

In reply to: My church I went to believes in the Big Bang Theory. Yup, God said Bang and it happened. LoL lol my science teacher has a funny poster that says that on his class room door. Except it's "Big Bang Theory: God said it and bang it happened."

those are pretty funny. but they are in a joking mannor

According to the Catholic church, you're not allowed to speculate on what happened before the Big Bang. At least, that's what Stephen Hawking found.Bobalicious, from biology.about.com:In reply to:The male gametes or sperm cells in humans and other mammals are heterogametic and contain one of two types of sex chromosomes. They are either X or Y. The female gametes or eggs however, contain only the X sex chromosome and are homogametic. The sperm cell determines the sex of an individual in this case. If a sperm cell containing an X chromosome fertilizes an egg, the resulting zygote will be XX or female. If the sperm cell contains a Y chromosome, then the resulting zygote will be XY or male.

Whoaaa Bobalicious!!! Did you fail your biology class and/or miss your sex ed class?
As Steve pointed out, thats as wrong as can be! I beleive what you are confused about is the fact that as the cells divide and an embryo forms, the embryo is the same for a certain period of time for both males and females. When the hormones kick in, based on the X or Y chromosome of the sperm, the changes then take place to form the genetlia. That is why the genetalia of both males and females have equal but different parts. ie. Clitoris=penis/glans.... testes=ovaries... fallopian tubes=vas deferens etc...

As I have said many times before, I bullshit my way through everything!!! MOst of the stuff I say I make up on the spot, I'm just lucky that sometimes its right! Obviously this isn't one of those moments. And I quit biology cause it was as boring as shit. Actually, its worse than shit, shit has an interesting smell.
