I was just talking to my g/f. she thinks she has a blader infection and has a doc's appointment in an hour to get it checked out and cleared up. this brought on a discussion between us that leads to this post.in the course of discussion we discussed bladder and yeast infections. Her claim is that yeast imparticular (Im aware of thrust and the like) can infect men as well. I know thats true, or least I belive it to be. She said though that uncircumsided men are more prone to this because that skin keeps the penus head wet and moist and its a warm spot on the body promoting ease of growth for the spore As I was circumsided after my birth, Iv never had a reason to be aware of this problem. so the question is this:Is it possible and likely for uncircumsided me to get a yeast infection ?I havent really found anything by google promoting or supportig her opinion so I thought Id ask here and see what the general experience was.

Men can get candida (thrush) infections. It's probably true that that the inside of a foreskin is a more hospitable environment for yeast growth than an uncircumcised penis.Circumcised men can get a yeast infection. You can have a subclinical yeast infection (i.e., there is yeast growing on the skin, but you show no symptoms).Pretty much everyone has some yeast growing somewhere on their skin.

Yes, intact men are more prone to yeast infections.

Yes, I meant to say:It's probably true that that the inside of an uncircumcised foreskin is a more hospitable environment for yeast growth than a circumcised penis.

shit......well this post just cost me 10 bucks then
-
...but a circumcised guy can still have a yeast infection on his penis.

well I never have, or atleast not one that I can remember, but Im sure I had one when I was a tot. The two year old has had one. I knew it was possible but i didnt think that a foreskin led to having more of them, so it cost me ten bucks to lose the bet.
