My new Sig
-
but i dont like the guys eyebrows, lol prepares to be shouted at LoL. They are a little tooo big I agree, but I can over look it hehe
-
We got the point, you have a crush on a gay model. Who cares? Did I ask you to care? Nope so shut it. Thanks =-D
-
the biggest issue with the larger, graphic sigs is for people who are still stuck with a slower connection. They often have to turn sigs off due to the download time of some of the larger ones, thereby negating the point of anyone's sig. That is all
-
Thanks for the compliment. I'll probably try and work on one that's a little better, this was put together pretty quickly. But thanks for the compliment.
-
Again I care what you say?? Nope sorry i don't.And nice try to bash me but atleast I can be with one person and not have the need to cheat on people. Sorry that right there makes me more of a man than you buddy. Grow up, gain some maturity, and some class than come and try and insult me. Because all you are right now is a little boy trying to make in a grown up world.
-
This post of yours nearly killed me, I was laughing so hard I couldnt breath. Maybe Im stupid but..... In reply to: Because all you are right now is a little boy trying to make in a grown up world. My two year old calls pooping making.da, make potty!and what with him needing to grow up and the connection and pictures n my head, I nearly made in my pants laughing. Its become my new favorite unintentional pun!

ROFL! Damn the typos LOL
-
oh no! never damn the typos, not whenthey result in bowel shaking bouts of laughter and histerics. I read it and it was nearly 10 minutesbefore I could compose myself to type a rsponse. never damn anything that good. I dont laugh that way nearly enough, it wa a great and unexpected suprise and has so far, been the high light o my day.
-
Well good!! Glad you got a good laugh! Atleast the typo demon gave someone a good laugh for the day =-D

'We got the point, you have a crush on a gay model. Who cares?'who cares who cares? the main point of the post was to inform us that he was resizing the sig before he got flamed for that. also, he likes it, hes proud of it so be done with it! as long as he likes it and it isnt too big why should you pick at him? its up to him what he has in his sig, same as you.stop belittling people. it doesnt make you seem big or clever so unless thats the desired effect, give it up.
-
In reply to: he likes it, hes proud of it so be done with it! as long as he likes it and it isnt too big why should you pick at him? its up to him what he has in his sig, same as you. i agree. it's not about the subject it's about the art of it. no i don't perticurlly like the subject but so wut.. i could do a photomontage digialy of Chuck carothers or even marylin manson. for mason it would be dark themmed and Chucks would be more dirtbike themed. i thinksigs kinda show a person's personilty.. well not but kinda. it's ok that he picked that dude for his subject.. he's a fan. would it be different if he picked a girl celeberty he was a fan of...no.. not to me.
-
What does it say to someone when they put up a thread about how they don't like this or that thing about their body, and the OP replies with something like, "You just need to have confidence!", but there a montage of photos of some fake-looking model hanging from his sig? It says, "I'm telling you this to make you feel good, but you and I know that I don't really believe it."There are so many posts on this site about people who are down on themselves because they don't measure up to some artificial standard of air-brushed beauty. All this worshipping of empty-headed celebrities has led to a lot of unhappiness and anorexia.I can understand a young teenager fawning over a pretty celebrity, but it's a bit jarring when an adult does it. It sends the wrong message.

a dork is a whale's penis usually about 25 feet long:S if that's the joke you're meaning:pFrom WordOrigins.org:In reply to:DorkPopular etymology would have it that this American slang term comes from a term meaning a whale's penis. That is half right. The term did originally mean a penis, but human not cetacean. This slang sense dates to at least 1961 and is probably a variant ondick or dirk (another name sometimes used to personalize the phallus). The sense meaning a stupid or obnoxious person follows a few years later, 1967.
-
totally agree with you steve. and interesting about the dork thing:S
-
If nothig else Iv gotten this out of the site!by this i mean the web page not the meaning of dork.I often wonder about words and its not an easy thing to track down untill now.

You are soooo out of it!The reason for my sig is because I like him as an artist. Do I think he's good looking? Yes I do. So what? My sig has no bearing on anythign else. If you dislike it I really don't care. But don't come here trying to tell me what I should or should not have on my sig. You have no right. But your soo freakin arrogant and full of yourself you think you DO have the right to tell people what they can or cannot have on their Sig and to tell people what they can can cannot post on this site. Who in the hell do you think you are? Get a grip, you're not a mod and I freakin hope you never become one.>I can understand a young teenager fawning over a pretty celebrity, but it's a bit jarring when an adult does it.Please if it was pictures of Pamala Anderson or some other busty woman you'd have no issues with it. It's the fact it's a man you have issues with. And You'll response with "No it doesn't matter if it's male or female what I said still applies" and that's bull and we all know it. Does Matthew Duffy give YOU insecurities? Stop thrusting your "better than thou" attitude all over the damned boards. You want to judge everyone elses maturity when you need to look in the mirror. The fact you took something as small as a sig and turned it into some stupid debate shows your mentality. You have no right to even think about judging someone elses maturity level, let alone judge people period.Grow up and stop being a High School style bully who craves attention by putting people down.

But don't come here trying to tell me what I should or should not have on my sig. You have no right.I thought everyone is allowed to come here and post their opinions. In fact, you asked for opinions. Did you mean to say, "Post opinions, but not ones that I disagree with"?> Who in the hell do you think you are?Just a forum member. I'm not telling you what you have to do. I'm just giving an opinion. It's just an opinion, and therefore...you know.> Please if it was pictures of Pamala Anderson or some other busty woman you'd have no issues with it. It's the fact it's a man you have issues with. And You'll response with "No it doesn't matter if it's male or female what I said still applies" and that's bull and we all know it. Does Matthew Duffy give YOU insecurities? You are way to hung up on the homophobia thing. I live in an area with a high gay population, as you know, since you've vacationed here. I had a gay roommate. As far as I know, I'm not gay, but I don't give a rat's @ss about people's sexual orientation. Give the "persecuted gay man" thing a rest.I absolutely would feel the same way about some empty-headed female model. I think the whole culture of celebrity worship is completely corrupt and destructive. So far, though, I haven't seen anyone with a Pamela Anderson photo in their sig ask for comments. If they did, I'd cut and paste what I already said, and replace "Patrick Duffy" with "Pamela Anderson".I was thinking about two molecular biologists I know, each with a PhD, and one with an MD, who would be worthy role models (in spades!). I don't think, in this culture, anyone would have them in their sig. It's too bad. Their research will hopefully lead to something more valuable than Patrick Duffy's artistic output.

Lord...>I thought everyone is allowed to come here and post their opinions. In fact, you asked for opinions. Did you mean to say, "Post opinions, but not ones that I disagree with"?You took something twisted it and ran with you. You knew well enough I meant opinion on the construction of the sig, not what you are talking about. Way to twists things again Steve.>You are way to hung up on the homophobia thing.Umm when did I say anything about this being a gay thing?? I said you have issues with him being a MAN not a GAY MAN. Are you reading into too much?? Yup you sure are! Or is that your subconscious telling you something??hmmmm... get a grip.>I think the whole culture of celebrity worship is completely corrupt and destructive.First off I don't worship MDuffy. Way to go extreme Steve. Secondly, I like him as an ARTIST. Personally I love his style of music and the way he dances. Even if he wasn't a "hottie" I would have still made a Sig for him. Another reason for the sig is to help promote his new music since he's a new artist on the scene.> was thinking about two molecular biologists I know, each with a PhD, and one with an MD, who would be worthy role models (in spades!). I don't think, in this culture, anyone would have them in their sig. It's too bad.You have a few pics of them? I can make you a sig if you like.Oh and Mduffy again is not my role model. MY role model is my Uncle who, like myself, had to work for his success and education. HE inspires me to continue challenging myself. Again, MDuffy I like as an artist, someone who went from just a back up dancer, to having his own album and success.

> Otherwise I am kind of proud of my little (Or atm Big) sig, first time I ever build one like that LoL.
> You knew well enough I meant opinion on the construction of the sig, not what you are talking about.
Huh? It wasn't clear that the domain of what was up for discussion was so restricted.
> Umm when did I say anything about this being a gay thing?? I said you have issues with him being a MAN not a GAY MAN. Are you reading into too much?? Yup you sure are! Or is that your subconscious telling you something??hmmmm... get a grip.
You brought up the issue that I would have thought it would be OK if it were a "busty" woman, but that I have a problem with it being a man. How would one interpret that? Think what you like, but it's not true. I don't know how else one would interpret the man versus woman thing. If that's not what you meant I apologize...but it sure seemed like that's what you were getting at.
> You have a few pics of them? I can make you a sig if you like.
No thanks, I'm not into the big sig thing. As I hope you realize, the comment was about the values of our society, not that I think you need to have a scientist in your sig. There's nothing wrong with appreciating an artist's talent, but the collage in your sig represents the artist's face (several times over), not his works.
> MY role model is my Uncle who, like myself, had to work for his success and education.
Those seem like worthy people. You already have an image of yourself in your avatar; why don't you put a picture of your uncle in your sig, if you must have a photo sig?
