Not the one's on here sorry. Just wanted to remind all that Veteran's day is coming up. Some might not exactly take it seriously, but I actually had to watch some movie in school about Veterans and what not. I'm going to start taking it a little more seriously since my 21 year old brother is now considered a veteran. He had gone to fight in Iraq 3 years ago and came back last year. His "squad" or whatever they're called were originally supposed to be in kuwait but they were relocated. I remember he called our house at around 5 am in the morning and he was absolutely broken up on the phone becuase he said he saw a friend that he met while he was there blow up right next to him and he got sliced a little across his face by the gun piece so the scar is still there. It's so sad but I'm glad he made it back. But my school broke into groups and went to different retirement homes and we were assigned to certain people who were veterans and had taken part in different wars. Got to meet a few of them and they were all so very nice and smart. This one guy I talked to who was about 76 told us about somethings that happened and how certain subjects in school can be very useful at times. And we played some sports with them outside... and sad to say they beat us in like every single one! These old people beat us. I'd like to say we let them win but I'd be lying. Dang. But it was fun. So just saying again. Hope you guys enjoy it Oh and I got 97.5 on my chemistry test. YAY! Studied like there was no tomorrow thanks to my life threatening family.

That's awesome! Yay for you! I'm in physical science, and we have Chemistry next semester... Right now, we're doing physics, which could be MUCH better with a more competent teacher.
-
What grade are you in?Taking field trips to visit some old people... actually getting BEAT by these old people ...Makes me think your in elementary school, but then you talk about Chemistry which as far as I know is not taught in elementary school

Lord Jesus in heaven above! Show me thy ways so I may not falter in thy presence!I'm in 9th grade. A freshman in high school. I don't know if your school does it but my school actually celebrates veterans day but we actually participated this year by each class grade visiting a retirement home and talking and having fun with old veterans from past wars. And it's supposed to be a joke buddy. Live it up! Jeez you people have no sense of humor. The old guys there had more sense of humor and they were cracking jokes every chance they got.
