Hey, im 16 and uncircumcized.First off, i only stumbled across this kind of problem a week or two ago when i didnt really know about full retracting foreskins, smegma etc...Anyway, at first i thought i had frenulum breve but now i think i have a skin bridge just under my 'pee whole' and also my pee hole is a little red and imflammed slightly and very very sensitive. It connects the foreskin to just under my pee whole, above the frenulum and it goes at a slight diagonal angle. At least, i think its a skin bridge. Because i never retracted my foreskin before a week ago and when i masturbate i do it with the skin forward, could it be something that will just disapear with time?I am unable to full retract because of this, i almost can get over the head but this pieceof skin seems to be stopping me, it creates a kind of v shape with the skin and its very red (ive been strecthing it thinking its my frenulum).During the last week ive been really scared and freaked out not knowing what it is or what to do, however i've been feeling a little better but still very worried, i really dont want to have to go and see a doctor or tell anyone as im very shy.Is just putting your penis in warm water good enough when its about half way over the head or is smegma still building up and how long before it can cause real problems.Last thing is ive noticed loads of people around my age commenting on similiar problems but everyone seems to brush the problem aside. Please help a very worried and confused person, Many Thanks,Hkhx

Foreskin connected to the head of penis?

Take a look at the Male Anatomy thread above. The skin you are describing is the frenulum. It and your foreskin just need to be stretched over time. There is a lot of info here about how to do it. It does take some time though. And yes, you do need to fully retract behind the head to wash properly.

Thanks for the prompt reply, i'd like to believe it is the frenulum but it just seems too high up...

adding to that it is to the to the left slightly and not opposite me as i look at it, thanks in advance

Not knowing what this condition you have looks like, it's also possible that you have an adhesion. Basically, the forskin and glans are king of glued together. It can and will separate with manipulation over time.
