Okay guys and gals, I'm looking for sites that offer the best deals on hotels for my trip this summer. I'm planning to go to Toronto and I'm trying to look around at all my options, so if anyone has any good sites I can look at please help me out ^_^ Thanks!

There are only a few databases that they all use. I found one that I thought was good, but it was connected to Travelocity down below.Prices change quiclky. Minutes after you get a quote, prices can go up or down. I guess it depends how rooms are selling, in real time, at a particular hotel.I was in two different hotels in Washington D.C. a couple of months ago, and the hotels screwed up. Even though I pre-paid on the travel company's Web site, the hotel still billed me, but they billed me their discount rate, which is what the travel company actually pays. It's a lot less than what you pay the travel company. I called the travel company to fix the problem, so they dropped their charge (it would probably have been a lot more complicated to get the hotels to reverse their charges). I wound up getting the rooms for the discount price -- very cheap, plus the small travel company service charge.Just make sure you check your credit card when you get home.

Have fun up there! I want to go

Steve's right. I belong to a hotel chain's program but I still get better rated form the actual location than I do from central booking.
Same with flights... I find the available flights with travelocisity but then book it through the airlines' web site. So, us an online service to find what you want but call the hotel directly to book.

With American Airlines, you save the service charge if you go to AA's Web site. Plus Travelocity (or one of those big sites) charges an extra service fee for tickets below $200.I agree mightily with unsupervised. Check the big sites for rates, but then go to the hotel or airline's own site, and compare. Choose whichever one is cheaper.
