Hi guys,i'm 14 and i heard somewhere that people can stretch their foreskin over the head of their penis. Is this normal (at my age?) or is this supposed to be happening to me?? Please help. Thanks. :-)
It's usual for the foreskin to be over the head of the penis normally when you are soft, though in some people it doesn't cover all the head. (Others may have a considerable "overhang".) It should be possible to pull it back ("retract" it). When hard, the foreskin may retract of its own accord; if not, it should be possible to retract it by hand.Retraction isn't possible in very young boys, and the foreskin is stuck to the glans. Some time between infancy and puberty it should separate so the foreskin can be retracted. Sometimes it doesn't separate easily and needs a bit of help, and sometimes the foreskin is tight and needs to be gently stretched so it can retract easily. This is for uncircumcised guys; in circumcised guys the foreskin has been largely removed. Sometimes there's enough looseness left in the skin to pull it over the head soft, but it wouldn't stay there.
