If you took half of a xanax and had to take a drug test the next day, would you still pass the drug test??

Drug Test
-
Why wouldn't you?
-
My brother wanted me to ask this question, because he has to take a drug test and wants to know if it will show up in his system.
-
Drug tests look for specific drugs. Since Xanax is a legal drug, I presume it wouldn't be included in the list of drugs they look for.
-
It's not in the list.. I had to take one today and I definetely didn't see that one on the list ...I have smoked pot every day in the last three days and I somehow passed the test?? Go figure

EMIT or RIA tests do screen for pharmacuticals, specifically oxycodone, hydrocodone, barbituates, tranquilizers, and benzos. The idea behind this is that if you are not perscribed the drug, then taking it is not legal. OTC drug tests that look like the little pregnancy tests just detect marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamines, and some can screen for MDMA. RIA and EMIT tests cost a lot to conduct so the military, probation/parole offiers, or jobs requiring a security clearance tend to use them more. If you're trying to work at Blockbuster, odds are they won't waste the $100 or whatever it costs to perform an expensive test, you'll probably be sent to a bathroom with a cup and they'll dip in one of those pH strip things.

why do you know so much about drug tests? (just curious)

This site can teach you alot about drug testswww.erowid.comhell, you can learn about anything there... In reply to:Federal government guidelines (by NIDA-The National Institute on Drug Abuse and SAMHSA-the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) require that companies which use commercial class drivers licenses for employees must have a testing system in place. Among other things, this required testing program must test for 5 specific categories of drugs (sometimes referred to as the "NIDA 5"). Because of this federal requirement, most drug testing companies offer a basic drug test that checks for drugs in these 5 common categories. Click on the substance name for a description of the laboratory method for detecting the substance. 1. Cannabinoids (marijuana, hash) 2. Cocaine (cocaine, crack, benzoylecognine) 3. Amphetamines (amphetamines, methamphetamines, speed) 4. Opiates (heroin, opium, codeine, morphine) 5. Phencyclidine (PCP) http://www.erowid.org/psychoactives/testing/testing_info1.shtml
