As i stated in my other posts, I am a 21 year old college student in Idaho and havn't had a girlfriend in the two years Ive been in college. The main reason is, all my friends live on campus, and when they hang out with their girlfriends, they either go back to their apartments or dorm rooms after their date. My parents are not rich and between work, working out(I'm studying to become a police officer and its kind of importnant to be in good shape), and school tuition, I cannot afford the money nor the time to get a place of my own. I guess I just feel that i am a failure because here I am a legal adult and a man who has to live with his mommy and daddy. To make matters worse, my mother works at home so she is always home, and our house is kind of small. Do women get turned off at these aspects, or am I just self-conscience about it? In my last post I was going to ask this girl out and asked for advice, this is another reason for my hesistation. On top of that, lets say your at a bar and meet a girl, I would feel really weird if I said that I lived at home. I don't know......but any feedback from people on this would be appreciated. Happy holidays
Another question, is living at home a turnoff?

Hahahahah I feel your pain! 23, still at home with rents. Small place. Mom's a stay at home mom. Broke from paying for college each semester (along with other bills) even though I already work 40hrs a week. Long story short, while I think you can still have a girlfriend and live at home at yours and mines ages, it definitely doesnt help. What can I say do you want hte truth or not? Although, then again...I know guys that do live at home who have a hell of a lot more personality than some guys that I know that have their own places and they has more women come into their life. So there we go again with an exception, if you are this rockin studly guy with a great personality and the women knows that you have plans and arent going to stay at home in the long run, then things are different. Overall as far as the average guy is concerned...being at home is definitely not a plus.
P.S. By the way Im average, so it sucks! lol
Hello mate, you don't have to tell a girl right off the bat, wait for a few dates! Wait till she likes you, then tell her.

My boyfriend is 21 and still lives with his parents, his little brother and his grandad. Not to mention his older siblings are always dropping by. We've been dating for two years (since I was a senior in highschool) and it is kind of akward becuase when I go over to his house, I have to make small talk with his family and they don't want his door closed. I live on campus at a school two hours away, and so when I come home it's either we spend time with his family, or mine. It is stressful but I wouldn't say it's a turnoff. At least your in school. Myboyfriend has just started to look at a school up north, and he's been out of school for two years.
I wouldn't say it's a bad thing, it can just make some situations a little akward and inconvienent sometimes.
May you never lie, steal, cheat or drink.
But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love.
If you must steal, steal kisses.
If you must...
hey! my friends brother is 29 and living at home.. THATS too old!
Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same.
In your case i think it's fine because you are in school, but if you were just at your parents home not doing to much of anything that would be a problem. I have a cousin who lived at home until she was out of graduate school. She had no bills, no car note, and the comfort of your home. I'm 22 and i left home 2 weeks after graduating high school, long story short it's to much to have to worry about how i'm i gonna get this, do this, and handle that and worry about making the kind of grades you need to make in college. If my mother would have allowed me to stay and just worry about school and spending money i would in a heart beat. If a girl doesn't respect that oh well oh hell, but I think a girl that's trying to have a bright future wouldn't mind at all. Just make sure you have money to take her out and get a room...just joking(no i'm not)

it really depends on the girl..... does she go out with you because ur rich/popular/hot, or does she really like who you are. if she really like who you are, living at home shouldn't be a problem...
