Hi, I'm 17, and a guy. Sorry, I realize it seems most of the posters here are women. Well I just graduated high school, so I've been wondering what to do with my life. For awhile, i've wanted to become a gynocologists (Even though Im' still a guy and have sexual urges, this isn't why. I'm just interested in the female anatomy..)But the cost of medical school means I probably won't.My mom told me about sex, but she was never very detailed about when I asked about the female gentila. So she would tell me it was a hole. That's it. Then she told me it was a slit (Which is true..) but nothing more.So when I go to this site, I am completely confused. I was like, "Damn, I never knew it was this complex. Why didn't my mom tell me about all the organs??"I forgot how I found it, but I have to say this is one of the most helpful sites. From there i've memorized all the female gentila, and that post on the top that some mod made, that is brillaint! One of the best resources i've read! It's really amazing how senstive the clitoris is, (Never had a GF, but read about it) and that is has more nerve receptors than the male counterpart. It's pretty amazing. I remember in 5th grade we had a class about our private parts, one for th emales, the other for the females. The males went and saw a video about their private parts and got a 'goodie' bag full of stuff for puberty (Deorderant, razors) while the girls got tampons and stuff.I always didn't find it fair that we couldnt' see both videos. Another reason I found out the 'truth' is from a sex ed abstinence class. They showed both the boys AND the girls, the opposite sex organs. Thanks for reading this..

As wonderful as this Web site is, there are much better resources on anatomy available. You ought to check the library and the bookstore. There are also a bunch of non-pornographic resources on the Web. Even some of the pornography has educaltional value, and you'll have no troble finding it.I assume you realize that gynecology is a specialty that you train for after medical school, and you go to medical school after getting your 4-year university degree. Do you plan to go to college? If you can swing that (there's financial aid, loans, and scholarship money available), then you can worry about medical school, if you do well. Most people pay for med school with big loans that they pay off when they're making bigs bucks as a doctor. There are also ways to get the govermnent to pay your loans, if you're willing to be flexible where you work as a doctor, at least for several years.[PurpleWishbone: For an alleged heterosexual, you sure are obsessed with me and my sexuality. I wonder what's up with that.]

why is it that most gynocologists are men?

Maybe because most doctors are men.
