Hello, I'm new! Where do I start? Overall, I'm very disappointed with the way I look. I am very skinny. I am about like 5'9 weighing about 150 lbs. I had acne all throughout high school & now that I graduated with class of 2005 this year. It seemed my acne calmed down, but I have alot of scars & marked up skin from the acne.Overall, these things made my self-esteem really low.I don't think a girl has even looked at me & there were times girls told me straight up, that the acne scars bothers them.Now I don't start school until next year but I'm trying to have this big transformation before then. Now, first off.. I need to seriously get in shape. The only equipment I have is 5 lb,15 lb & 25lb dumbbells. Then I have this 8 year old machine. I don't know what you call it. But you get on it & you move up & down on it. It's really for your legs, almost like you're walking. I can't afford to go to a dermatologist or go to a gym right now at the moment. But if people have tips for my workouts & how to help my skin, that's very cheap & effective let me know. I know I have to consume alot of protein too. I already went out & bought multivitamins with a Protein Powder shake mix, that has 24g of protein per serving. Thanks for all the help that is given!
Improving my looks (Working out,acne scars) HELP?
Sounds liek you have a good starting routine to your work out. As for your skin, I'm not sure if there is anything over the counter to help with your scars. Best thing I can tell you is to save money and see a dermatologist and see what they have. An office visit shouldn't be too much money, $60 or so. Just check around your area and call a few offices.
Though fi I do come across anything over the counter that can help with Acne scaring I'll let you know.
