I'm a scotch drinker.
there are 3 basic groups of scotch... highland (light flavor), lowland (heavy flavor) and Islay (mouth full of peat smoke)
There are always exceptions ofcourse.
wiskey wise...
Scotch is made from malted barley
Burbon (usa) is made from corn
Rye (Canada) is made from ryeIf you were to taste all 3, you might not think that they are all 'wiskey'
-
Burbon (usa) is made from cornCorn squeezin's! Hooch!
-
I don't know what kind of scotch I've tried, but the whisky I've had has all been Canadian rye I believe.

-
"Inferno" with the chillies in the bottle?good stuff!

I never tried that, but a friend of mine used to brew his own beer (he's put it in reused, resealable Grolsh bottles), and he made a deal with a guy in western Massachusetts where he'd trade beer for fresh habaneros. He made some beer with habaneros in the bottle. It sounds crazy, but it was really good. The problem is that the liquid was dangerous...you did not want to splash it in your eye, or get it on your fingers and touch your eye.

Lol my dad let me try it once, it was the most vile thing i've put in my mouth, right up there with that cheap tequila my friend once brought for new years...

I remember my first shot of 151. I thought I burned a hole in my throat. lol I think I will just stick to Jagermeister. Quick question for you expert drinkers: Is there really deer blood in Jager?
-
eeewww Jager.. that stuff messes me up to much when I drink it. I personally like 151, it burns but you have wonderful breath after! =-D
-
there are a lot of fantastic stories around Jager.
Supposedly, the "real" stuff you get in Europe is quite different that the exported product.
I never heard the dear blood rumour but it's said that the real stuff contains narcotic herbs. -
Hmm..let's see. Thin crust with your usual marinara sauce with tons of CHEESE. Then I usually add some sausage and the occasional pepperoni, and then more cheese.

Well, I just tried some cinamon peppermint schnopps... No one prepared me for it, so I took a big mouthful... It burned, and I ran to the bathroom to spit it out... My stomach is still sort of warm.
