HELP!!!!..promise ring

In my personal opinion, you are pretty young to make such a decision even if you do love each other...I would say that it's something you can give her next xmas. My bf gave my a promise ring on our one year anniversary (I was 17 and he was 18...last week we celebrated out second anniversary, and we're more in love than ever. If you truly love that girl and believe that you can be with her forever, then wait a year or two...when you'll be even more sure and the promise will ring truer. This xmas, give her something that shows how much you love her, but doesn't carry with it so much weight as a promise of marriage...a beautiful necklace or a studded bracelet..maybe an engraved locket.

thats what i say..i myself dont feel ready to commit myself at such a young age but alot of close friends and a few family members really think its a good idea..but i feel uneasy about it all..i just wanted to take her ao abercrombie or hollister and buy her clothes cause thats proly what she wants...lol

if you feel uncomfortable about comming like that, then don't, chances are she feels the same way. Just b/c you family/friends think it's a good idea doesn't mean that you should do it. You can love her without promise rings, and give her one when you feel confident that you'll both be commited and ready.
