she is really great and from talking to her friends she is apparently having these feelings towards me too but will not act on them !! ok, does that mean she doesn't want to be the instigator of you two getting together, or, that she won't act on them cos she doesn't want to take it further again?

to be truelly honest i have no clue on how to interpret whats been said !!

Why did the two of you break up? Sometimes you can still have feelings for one another, but you hold back reconciling because you are afraid that things will get bad again, assuming things got bad for the two of you.

If a relationship ended it was bad, if it wasnt bad it would not of ended.Seems to me that if I got out of one with someone then there was a reason for it and I need to stay the hell out of it so it doesnt go back to what it was. Its stupid to go back to bad circumstances over and over. I try to not make the same mistakes more then once. Learn from the past, get over it and get on with life.Like the Cherry Poppin' Daddies? They had a song "No Mercy for Swine" on the "Zoot Suit Riot" album that had some lyrics I think are relavant to this topic:Well with bloodshot eyesI'm finally brokeI feel like I just had a strokeWe made a stainShe said my nameI drank a thousand beers for that dameNow we're the couple in the cornerTying up our tongues to the percolatingRhythm of the big bass drumShe said no jack don't you go backNo jack don't you go backSo we hit the floorSlicked up to the ninesAnd I tell you there will beNo mercy for swineI'm swingin' on the chandelierDrowin' in a thousand beersI've got it down to an artLonely sex with a desperate heartThe only way to get over someoneIs to get under someone newAnd show them no mercyNo mercy for swine{/i}The last verse is what I think is the best solution to a end of relationship but its a damned fine song, assuming you like swing. In the interest of one of my favorite songs, I included all of the lyrics.shit, now the songs in my head I have to go find the CD, I hope its here and not in the car.
