ok i made a post before about how i found a lump on my right testical. well i relized that i can move it around. like i feel it and then i push it and when i go to feel again its gone. then like 5 min later ill feel again and its in the same place. i finally got my liceance and i dont know how to get it checked out. do i just show up at the doctors office and ask for an exam. i really dont want to call ahead or anything its just embaressing. i wish i knew what it was
If you can move the lump around, then its probably not testicular cancer. Testicular cancer is usually a hard or firm lump on the surface of the testicle itself. You wouldn't be able to move it around separate from the testicle.
You're probably feeling your epidydimis, or part of your spermatic cord, or perhaps even a varicocele (enlarged varicose veins near the testicle, usually harmless).
If you go to the doctor, just tell them you want a physical exam. Most physicals include the doctor checking out your testicles for signs of cancer. At least the doc should do that - if he/she doesn't check for that, find another doc. You can also tell the doc you felt a lump on your right testicle that you are concerned about - the doc will check it out and let you know if its normal or not.
