Hi I was wondering, how do you know when you're breaking the hymen, or when youre just pushing too far? Like, is it hard to break or really easy? I don't want to end up hurting my gf if we choose to have sex.

Breaking the hymen

The hymen is only about an inch inside the vagina, so you should know if that's what you're hitting. If her hymen is still intact, it will have to be broken for you to penetrate her. She will probably feel a short pain. Once you are in her, the next obstruction you could possibly encounter (if you're long enough) would be her cervix. If you are bumping up against this, it will probably be uncomfortable for her and you should back off. You just won't be able to put your penis all the way in and there's nothing wrong with that given that all the nerves (for you and for her) are in the first few inches anyway. Be sure you use a condom and that she is well lubricated before you even think about penetrating her.

Thanks. Just one more thing, so like, after an inch or so in, I should just push untill I can get in more than an inch or something? Like, will it just give slight resistance? Sorry, I don't know much about this. And don't worry, if we ever do do it, I'd use a condom every time.

So just fingering a girl breaks her hymen?
-
yep, and inserting a tampon, riding horses, running, bike. riding can even cause it to break
-
So chances are, if I can stick my finger in, her hymen's already broken?
-
every hymen is different...for example, using a tampon didn't hurt at all cuz the opening was big enough for a tampon, but a penis was too big and it hurt like a bitch...so if you fingered her, you may have broken it completely, just a little or not at all...it all depends. Either way, you gotta be gentle.

Yeah, thanks for all your help.

lol. I guess that's what I get for not previewing my posts. I was so concerned about making the point that a guy doesn't have to bottom out his cock (since the nerves are about an inch into the vagina) that I inadvertently gave bad info about the location of the hymen. Sexpot, thanks for catching that.
