I have Windows Millenium, have two hard disks one connected to IDE Primary Master and the other to IDE Primary Slave. DVD-ROM is connected to IDE Secondary Master and a CD-Writer is connected to IDE Secondary Slave. While Booting up, the system detects both the hard disks, but after Windows is completely installed the Hard disk which is connected to IDE Primary Slave does not show up in "My Computer". But when I connect it to IDE Primary Master it works fine.My first hard disk has 2 partitions C & D, DVD ROM & CD Writer are E & F. My system does not show anything else, not even a USB when it gets connected. But both the Hard Disks Surely Shows up in Device Manager and the Driver files are also correct, but cannot access it because the second Hard Disk does not show up in My Computer. What could be wrong? I re-Installed windows but this problem still persists, CAN SOME BODY PLEEEZ HELP???
HELP HELP DETECTING IDE PRIMARY SLAVE HARD DISK
Motherboard configuration issue? Boot ROM problem? Is it a new motherboard, or one you've used before?Just out of curiousity, why would you go through all that trouble to install Millenium? Why not XP?
