First, I would like to say that I just recently turned 17 and have yet to be able to pull back the foreskin completely. The problem is not that the foreskin is too tight to be pulled back, which is what I originally thought was wrong (but now I know it isnt that because I can pull it half way, and its still not too tight). The problem is, when I pull it back I notice this piece of flesh that connects the foreskin to the penis' head inside, and I don't want to pull the foreskin any further back and risk damaging myself. What is this, and what do I do about this?

Foreskin being held from pulling back?

Ooh doesnt sound too good. Never heard of it before but i would reccomend that you ask your doctor.

Ok... I did some research and god do I feel better. Turns out this "flesh" is the frenulum, and its supposed to be there (that's all I needed to hear! :P)Now... knowing that its normal... I guess that means I need to do some stretching to make the foreskin go back. So that means everything I thought was wrong. So what on earth do I do now, and how do I avoid damaging (or even worse... ripping :S) it?

Huh? Are you circumcised?

I don't know if the original poster read your post before doing his research, but if he did you could have seriously freaked him out. Both of you should have read the anatomy section at the top of the page.

It is called the frenulum, when it is to tight it is called frenulum breve. i also suffer from this...i am able to pull my foreskin below my head, however it stays just underneath and no further unless i pull it down.
