Blotches on face

Unfortunately, by the sounds of it, you have acne scarring. Scars are nott he easiest things to get ride of, it even possible. As for any homemade or natural treatments.. I knwo of none. Your only real option is to see a dermatologist. They do have some treatments to help reduce the appearance of scars.

Well the odd thing about this, is the way to prevent scaring is to hydrate the skin. even thought to prevent acne you dry out the skin. They sell ointment to put on cuts and things like that to prevent scaring so i dont know how it will work on acne. Try this link for some things to use if this doesnt help search google or yahoo for preventing sccarring. Good luck

Actually to prevent acne you need a balanced skin.. not too dry and not too wet. If the skin is too oily you get ance and if the skin is too dry it also gets ance.
-
well you know what i meant. When you think of acne you think of a real oily face, so u need to dry it out. not totally but most acne meds dry out the skin to an extent.

Doesn't Accutane really dry out the skin, while it reduces acne?
-
Yup! I had VERY oily skin, so it helped balance my skin out. I still praise accutane lol.Even while I was on accutane my dermatologist gave me a none-oil based prescription strength lotion so it didn't over dry my skin.

Thats what they look like, but they're even worse when you see them in person, they're really dark and are a complete different colour to my face.. Is it acne scarring, blotches or what?..
Would a toner for your skin work? Can anybody help me ?
-
might just be dry skin too.
-
To me, it looks like your skin might be dry, but I wouldn't know if I can't see you in person and feel it. But, anyway, I've had scars like that and the only thing that makes them go away is time. For me, they can last from about 6 months to well over a year. Some people's scars take longer to go away, some go away quicker, so there's no telling how long it will be until your scars go away. Toner would be the best thing to help speed up the fading and you can always try one of those DIY Microdermabrasion kits. I hear that the best on the market right now is the L'Oreal ReFinish Micro-Dermabrasion Kit.

Well I see some scaring and what could also be dry skin. As I have said I have severe acne when I was younger. I do a daily routine, which helps keep my skin healthy and hydrated. I'll give you my routine:I wash my face two times a day (esp before going to bed!!) I also use a toner by Neutrogena (Deep pore toner, it's in a whitish bottle with blue typing) and a non-oil based moisturizer (the name escapes me atm, I'll get back to you on that if you need it, but any non-oil based moisturizer will work). By doing that routine I have found my skin to be MUCH healthier and I get barely any blemishes (I might get one or two pimples ever other month or so).Just keep in mind I am not a dermatologist, just giving you info that has worked for me. If you are truly concerned I would seriously consult with a doctor.
