God damn I HATE leg day, it's not wonder so many people skip it. Seriously though, are legs normally such a bitch, or is just me? Is it normal to swear drunken bikey just at the thought of stairs? My leg routine looks like this:Squats: Warm up to 3 sets of 5.Leg Press: 3 sets of 6Leg Extension: 3 sets of 6Leg Curls: 3 sets of 6I try to do it, but after the squats, I just give up. I do a half assed leg extension workout, and quit. Am I doing something wrong, or do I just have to suck it up and do it? Any motovational advice? Thanks again, and sorry for the somewhat pointless post.

Leg Rant!

Perhaps you could try lowering the weight slightly so you don't find it so painful to make it through to the end. The results of doing all the exercises will definitely be better than doing a single exercise at a high weight. EDIT: Are you eating plenty earlier in the day before the workout and drinking enough liquids. Leg workouts involve moving a lot more weight than other regions of the body since that's where the largest muscles are located. You need to make sure that you're at your peak when you start the workout so you won't exaust part way through.

I'm eating better than I ever have in my life. Muslie, milk and fruit for breakfast, good salad roll for lunch, protein shakes throughout the day, and I'm on creatine too. I'm almost always never without a bottle of water too, constantly drinking from it.I dunno, with every other muscle group the muscles get tired, tired to the point that I can't lift the weights at all, but legs is just a full body exhaustion. For example, I could push myself to the limits working my chest, then continue on to do biceps. After a few hard squat sets though, I couldn't work any other muscle, let alone my legs again, I'm just wrecked.

I focus more on my legs than any other part of my body. Following that would be my abs. It's all about pushing yourself through it and getting it done. The pain is a sign that you're pushing yourself and your legs will strengthen as your reward. You should try doing jump squats. They burn a bit while doing them, but the real pain is afterwards when your legs stiffen up and it becomes difficult to walk.
