So i will never be able to wear a sleeveless top again without someone asking me about the cuts on my arm... I cant explain how much I wish i could take it all back. Not meaning to sound big headed but ive got nicely tanned skin and ive gone and ruined my chance of ever being normal again.

R bless ya im 16 by way before u think im like an old perosn lecturing lol.I think they will go down and not be to noticiable, hopefully by the summer.
-
before u think im like an old perosn lecturing what the hells that meant to mean?

I really hope so. And I cant get hold of any mederma here, only over ebay. and being 15 I dont have an account and cant get one. And any scar creams around here are like 25 quid + which if ur american is like $40 + (ish)
-
Na im from the UK and yea i see the problem but hopefuly, im pritty sure they will go down.
-
How are you doing with eating?
-
i'm sure you can get mederma at any pharmacy/drug store..it shouldnt be too difficult to find
-
Mederma is a waste of money. The way to get rid of scars is to keep the skin moist. It is recommended to use hydrocortisone cream, or things of that nature. That should be found anywhere. If youve had the scars for a while, it is useless to apply that stuff because it wont help. Scars often fade with time. I have many scars from when i was younger that have faded with age. i wouldnt worry about it though, you're human we all get injured
-
yeh i agree actually, scars fade with time however annoying that may be. i once had a very deep cut and its taken ages to heal but now i can hardly see it, its slightly silvery now. not so deep cuts wont take as longwhen i had stretchmarks(which technically is a scar) i thought of buying this mederma stuff but usually these cremes are quite expensive and ive heard they dont work from friends etcin general i would just keep them well moisturized, thats what i do.

That's a toughie. I used to have these marks on my upper thighs (past beatings lol) they were hideous though like ew nasty type of hideous. But over the years they've dissappeared and all I have left is this one little line in the back so I think you'll just have to wait it out. The tan should help though. I'm not sure about the creams. When I got stitches the doctor gave me this type of liquid cream to apply each day and it's not there anymore. Don't know what it was called I have to find out. I'll let you know when...if I do find it

that stuff works on scars?
-
Well i didnt mention that because aloe is generally used when the cut or burn or whatever it is is fresh. once the skin dries up it is recommended to use "1st aid" ointments, such as hydrocortisone However aloe wont hurt anything, it will only help so you can put that on as well....plus its natural
-
man i love aloe vera seriously if i could id bath in it, last time i went to cuba , i used like no sunscrean and i was pretty much all dark red and all my skin was peeling off i put aloe all over my body and instantly my skin stopped peeling and all the pain stoped and i was able to sleep and after 3-4 days my burns were gone and skin was normal and it evolved into a nice tan
-
yes aloe vera does work wonders. It is GREAT on sun burns
