Okay this is my very first post...I had taken a laxative about 5 days ago. Up until 2 or 3 days ago I have been suffering through some semi bad stomach cramps in my lower abdomen and I feel like I have to do diarhea really bad. But when I go to use the john I end up constipated! nothing comes out! I sit there and wait and once in a great while I'll poo very little and it looks green. a bright green.I don't know if I have the stomach flu or what. It hurts really bad about 5-10 minutes after i eat something. So I havent really been eating anything lately because I'm afraid my stomach will hurt a lot.should I take another laxative? I would see a doctor but I don't have any insurance right now because I'm a poor college student with nomoney :P

Green stool and stomach cramps

That sounds very screwed up. Doesn't your school have a clinic? You don't need insurance to be seen at the clinic.I really recommend seeing a doctor.

they do and I went to see the doc there and all the damnlady told me was to drink more water. She was no help at all... I kinda just started the water thing today. Everyone at my school hates the nurse because it seriously feels like she doesn't know anyting about anything.
I was contemplating the free clinic around here but I dont drive (I take the bus to school) and I also work so I barely have time for anything else besides school and work.

I recommend that you find your way to the free clinic. I'm not saying you necessarily have a serious issue, but it would be better than winding up in the hospital.Don't get me started on the American health care system. I hope everyone who has ever been without health insurance thinks about it next time they cast a ballot.

Green poop is not a good sign. They have something that causes it in underdeveloped countries and I believe they call it Montezuma's Revenge. You really should see a real doctor in case you have something that could be serious.

"Montezuma's Revenge" (a slang phrase) is caused by eating food containing things (like bacteria) that you're not used to. It causes diarrhea. It has nothing to do with this person's problem.
