Hi,It's been 3 weeks since I had unprotected sex with a girl I didn't know. Today, I noticed a little, raised bump at the very top of my leg/genital area (right on that crease). It's hard and it looks like it's flesh-colored or in the right light, almost brown. I tried to pick at it but that didn't help, it actually started bleeding a little bit on the side that I was picking at it.It's raised just a little bit, but like I said it's hard. In looking at it very closely under the light it looks like (maybe) there's a little indentation in the middle of it.Could you please help me? Does this sounds like genital warts to you??Thank you.

Genital Wart?
-
Perhaps but I doubt it, but it might be molloscum. Look that up. There are pictures on this site.

It didn't look like the pictures of mollusculum. It's just one little bump. I picked at it, like I said, and it started to bleed- it turned red too. It's flesh-colored on one side and a red still on the side that I picked at it- it's not VERY hard, but a bump nonetheless. If it was a wart could it have bled like that and gotten red? Could it be a skin tag?

I had a simular thing happen to me in the same place but it was a string mole. Using sunlight I burned it off with a small magnifying glass. It never came back..

Using sunlight I burned it off with a small magnifying glass. It never came back.. Are you/were you a boy scout or sommat????
-
I know you guys use sommat often but I just don't get how sommat = "something like that"? I hate that word.
-
**Its actually a way of writing 'something' in the way it sounds; as us Yorkshire ( a region of england) Folk speak it............
som _-thing like th - _ at = sommat
So is there some kinda punishment that goes with you hating it, shall i sweep the community forum floor or ' something'?

 -
Yes - Eagle Scout!
-
It's a common Northern English dialectal word for something, and quite old. I suspect it is connected with "somewhat" rather than "something like that". "Somewhat" originally could mean "something" (cf "somewhere").The usual literary spelling is "summat". Because it's not standard Southern English it doesn't get into basic dictionaries. It is unknown to dictionary.com, but freesearch includes it, as does WordWeb, which however incorrectly calls it slang (it's not: it has a long literary use). Urbandictionary.com users have included both summat and the variant spelling sommat, but without depth of knowledge.

Ive neeever heard anybody use that expression!

>>>>>>>Yes - Eagle Scout!

Pete, wow, i didn't realise there was that much to the word sommat.........
Pink, i tend to not use it, unless im in a giddy mood and it just slips out, like yesterday as a lot of none UK folk just don't get it  **
