Is it possible that you can bench a set amount of weight each time and still get that ripped look. I see guys at the gym always askin each other how much they bench, and i see guys always trying to max out and lift more and more each time. Do you have to keep trying to lift more and more to look stronger and ripped. Because honestly, I dont give a crap about HOW MUCH i bench. Just the way i look.

I'm really skinny, so without some mass there, I'll never get definition. However, if you've already got some muscle on your chest, you can easily make it more defined. Just do lighter weights, and more reps.
Instead of maxing out after 6 reps, drop the weight and max out at 20. You won't gain as much strength, or as much weight, but you'll become far more defined.
